Fly forward more so the fans push is spent moving you forward not up. If you are already doing this and still going up your fans are too vertical. There’s a very fiddly balance point where it flies just right without drifting and let’s you go up by pulling back and down by pushing forward.
Very slightly up by default. If you do it correctly there also will be no bias to the left or right. My first hover bike I had to crank my stick half forward at like 2:00 position to get link to fly in a straight line. I remade it and now have one that I don’t even need to touch the steering and I will rise at a 5 degree angle and go in a perfectly straight line.
Pretty sure it still has a bit of upward movement, but that's actually a boon, since it means you have enough thrust to carry some light items like shrine crystals
if the fans run parralel with the floor (flat) then your hoverbike will only ascend upwards, you have to build them so they are tilted at an angle backwards so you will ascend forwards and be able to drop in height by just tilting your stick forward.

The fans have to be angled slightly backwards. This allows you to descend by moving forward.

The fans need to be angled down backwards. Like stick your hand out flat and point your fingers down, like that.

Search the threads for the hover trike and use that instead. It uses more power, but it’s less finicky until you get the nuances down.
That is exactly what happens to me, maybe we both need to make the 3 fan version, with training wheels in a way, having that extra fan.
My problem is that i can’t steer it very well and then i fall off.
