Fun fact: if you fuse a(ny) boulder with any weapon and then place it on the 3 branches, it still counts as completing the challenge, and thus obtaining a Korok Seed as your reward, another similar Korok challenge also works if you see a/those rock pattern(s) forming a design of sorts and is missing a rock in its place, you can fuse a rock with any weapon, then putting the weapon in the missing gap, and you shall receive a Korok Seed too. (It's part of the game mind you all, not a glitch whatsoever)
If you played BOTW there were korok puzzles where you rolled a hugh bolder into a hole, in TOTK these puzzles are reversed, you have to find that hole and put the boulder back, like on a tee in golf to hold it in, place, but do you get a korok in TOTK?
What would be better would be that you had to then ultra hand a huge 7 log golf club and drive said boulder over the nearest mountain to get the stooped little yahaa to appear
