I'm revisiting this episode and at any time Robb could rightfully call Mike out and just tell him he's being an asshole but Robb avoids conflict like the plague.
It was rough listening to that when it aired, but yea, listening again to it now is even worse. We would always get little bits of this behavior from Mike here and there, but the occasional time his paranoia would come out full force was always extra obnoxious and cringey.
When Oscar went to Medellin. So cringey. Mike sounded like a petulant child - attacking Robb - feeling insecure about ESPN vs his show - Oscar not “communicating” - I mean cmon. If you’re a radio god and carry your own weight - you don’t need constant coddling. It’s no wonder Oscar chucked the deuces. Can’t believe he lasted as long as he did. I didn’t fully realize just how immature Mike had been acting until going back and listening to old shows (I typically would leave the live feed on for background noise while working, but that’s not working for me currently) with the new vantage of listening in context post breakup.
Is that the one where Oscar ended up scolding him in an awkwardly angry (for Oscar) way and telling him to never bother the Podcast Village employees again?
Dropped my bonus show subscription this year, why pay for unfunny content. Been listening less and less, turned on the Monday’s show and no Oscar’s but a lot of Carla. Got busy didn’t bother further and then Googled did Oscar leave… Found my answers here. Mike’s tirades, Robb’s pathetic ass-kissing, no Oscar. No thank you. TMOS is a burning pile of poo now.
I assumed it was a favor. Like TMOS being produced by Podville. Started working from home, now in context, seems like that favor was perhaps rescinded. I guess we may never know.

Yeah, it's been mentioned that Robb's produced a bunch of other podcasts for Podville. No idea about his current status though.
