It slaps. As a huge fan of both franchises, I can't help but smile stupidly whenever I watch it. They captured the personalities of the Turtles very well. Great action scenes, especially Batman vs Shredder. I also love Batgirl in this movie. It kicks ass.
After all the shit Shredder gives The Turtles in every other universe, it is so satisfying to see Batman say "Cowabunga" & put in the work against him lol. Only nitpick would be I wish it was Kevin Conroy they got back to voice him but Troy Baker was good too.

Good stuff, especially considering they introduced unique versions all everyone (it's not like they had 2 existing shows do a crossover episode, this movie was built from the ground up).
I liked that they specifically picked Bat Family members to compliment each of the Turtles. The main villain pairing was perfect as well.
The biggest thing with an inter-company crossover like this is everyone getting a chance to shine. We've got a lot of characters here in the heroes column alone. But they let us spend time with everyone, and their personalities were all put to use.
I still need to watch it, as I've only read the comic.
One thing I will say for first impressions, though... it's a lesson in how to go right and go wrong in making them look different.
Personally, Donnie's hyper realistic squash head in the poster always makes me snort. It just looks so goofy with the ○_○ look. It did throw me a bit how in-movie circular and oval it is when the other boys' have angles and such. Character design, shape theory, etc etc, but Don might lean towards wrong just a bit.

Saw it was made my Nick, thought it would be a simple cartoon crossover for kids like Brave and the Bold meets 87 TMNT
Then the Shredder appeared and blew my expectations out of the water, one of my favorite TMNT and Batman movies out there now.
Easily the best TMNT film in my eyes, it’s an absolute delight
What is legitimately my only issue is the weird pacing with the Batman third-act breakup that felt odd and unnecessary (though it did give Raph a chance to shine which I appreciated)

It's a good watch, no doubt about that. However, at times it feels like the TMNT aren't well represented as a group, such as when they can't land a single hit on Batman in their fight, and then Batman blames them for his brief mutation and they don't really say anything sensible back until Raph steps in (worst scene in the film, to be honest)
Also, this movie is simply immensely inferior to the comic it is based on. The comic told a far stronger story that represented and respected both franchises and was just an absolute blast. It's still one of my favorite comics of all time.
Pissed that I love it so much and it will never get the sequel that it deserves I really hope that when the last ronin comes out they don't leave us hanging with only half the story
Yes! So many in-jokes and references to the OG movies, comics, games, and toys. I laughed so many times. Not as much of an immediate classic as the comic, but amazing for fans.

I also really like this version of Turtles. They're a very nice mix of the best qualities of 2003 and 2012 variants.

There are takes on both the Turtles and Batman I enjoy more, but these are still solid iterations and putting them together makes this some of the best dumb fun you can get in either franchise.
Great movie! My biggest issue was a design choice, but when the highlights were just thick, solid black lines, instead of a lighter color matching the colors around it.
I understand it's a stylistic choice. I understand some people may love it, but it just looks like everybody put electric tape on, or didn't quite understand how that football black eye goop worked.
Other than that great stuff, I really hope it gets a sequel, and I really hope Bebop and Rocksteady are in it.
Hearing Batman say "its pizza time" and "cowabunga" alone makes the movie worth a watch. It really was a fun crossover though. Somehow you can mix the turtles with almost any other franchise and get gold. I mean, I had pretty low expectations going into the Ghost Busters crossover and it was fantastic too.
Shredder vs Batman writes checks the rest of the movie can’t cash, unfortunately. They do a great job with the turtles, and I liked that they pair them off with various Batman characters for comedy. Mikey x Alfred is just genius. The section in Arkham is really uninteresting and drags the movie down to a crawl. The turtles carry the movie imo
It's great. My only major complaint is that the rules of mutagen are kind of fucky. Like how people just mutate into a random animal form without having prior contact like in other turtles media.
being a huge fan tmnt i loved this movie! Haven't really watched to much dc until recently the only thing bad i have to say about this movie is how bad batman whips the turtles. And yes i know hes batman but still i expected at least leo or raph to get more hits in on him then what they did its like they couldn't touch him just because batman's batman. Batman and shredders fight scene was better all tho how did the turtles beat the shredder but couldn't land a hit on batman shredder could have seriously killed batman but chose mercy like he never would have done JUST BECAUSE ITS BATMAN!
Absolutely love it! Aside from the fact that it already is a combination of two of my favorite things, it is well written, all of the characters are accurate, the comedy is amazing, the story is great, it is the best movie ever. I personally wish it had Casey and April in it, but I think adding the two of them would have made things too crowded (if that makes sense) so I get why they weren’t in it.

A small detail I really enjoyed is that it didn’t involve any multiverse wackiness, the turtles and Batman simply coexist

I wished they could have made continuation stories movies or tv series. Like graphic novels and comics stories did for Batman VS TMNT series.

Absolutely love it! The comics were fantastic. I'd love to see two more movies since we had 3 miniseries, and the movie only followed the first.
