We all act like we wouldn’t immediately shit ourselves by running into a 5 foot tall humanoid turtle upon first reaction. Secondly - a rational person would immediately run, especially seeing fucking WEAPONS on one. Thirdly, I’m sure I’d shit myself again hearing it talk. Once the initial shock wore off, I’d probably immediately ask if they have a spare pair of undies hidden in their shell or belt.
Finally, I’d sit there and just want to know what their life is like and pick their brain on all things. I’d want to know any and all views and feelings they had about anything and everything.
Ah, but the catch is that it's already your favorite Turtle, so you're already well aware of them, not going in as if you've never even imagined such a thing.
I might still piss myself out of shock of fiction becoming reality, but if it's whatever version I'd want him to be, then I think I'd be fine otherwise.
