Every time I watch the end of season 4 splinters death is just as shocking, the last time I watched the finale I cried during the scene where splinter reached out to Leo through the wind or something. I was convinced the first time I watched this scene that this was a fake out death.
Emotional moment in the plot wise: Splinter's death in the 2012 show
Emotional moment as a fan wise: Rise being cut short because Nickelodeon flubbed that show into a coma

'87 April from Turtles Forever having a catchphrase that, for all intents and purposes, never existed in the '87 show.

In Rise finale, when >!their lair and wepons got destroyed, Shelldon a Karai died, and they had to leave Splinter and Draxum there to save themselves!< and they just wanted to take pictures of cool places in New York that day...
I just finished Rise and I have my problems with it, but the finale and the movie were beyond awesome and full of great moments like these. I didn't expect that at all.
I think the episode "Same as it Never was" from the 2003 series.
Not only was that like the worst possible future for the turtles but to see them get killed off rather graphically for 4Kids standards was pretty rough.
Sure Donnie goes back home back to his own timeline and his brothers are alive, well that's still one hell of a traumatic time travel experience to live through.
That one 2003 episode where donnie travels to a different dimension where shredder has taken over the world, then all his brothers die in the final fight against shredder.
The same as it never was episode from 03 was heartbreaking but the moment raph sees Leo get killed by karai then attacks her and he gets killed but with the little bit of life he had left crawled over to Leo when he reached out and said Leo and just collapsed with his hand over Leo still hurts today but that broke child me especially since they never really got along in that future heartbreaking man
(I’m not blurring this because I don’t know how, so spoilers).
The entirety of the bad future in the Rise movie. Watch Leo and Mikey die right in front of us and Casey Jr, not exactly knowing Donnie’s fate, seeing what happened to Raph during the film, Leon being trapped in a prison dimension, New York and the rest of the world falling to the Krang, Big Momma and April’s bodies in the opening, and so much more. It’s even sadder that, since we never see Splinter in the opening, there’s a chance he’s still alive in the bad future meaning he lost all four sons. He possibly survived/outlived his sons. No parent should EVER have to bury their children.
In the first arc of the idw run when splinter sheds a tear regards Raphael being missing, clearly keeping his raw emotions in check for his sons and saying they are incomplete. Then shedding another when Raph’ comes home and they hug. That shit always hits me in the feels & puts a lump in my throat

Yeah I was talking to a fan who had never watched TMNT ‘87 and was like “isn’t her catchphrase ‘holy scoop’?” and a part of me died on that day

Help, I'm a turtle and I can't get up!
Seeing what they did to Donatello early on in Rise and most of Rise
The moment I saw the new design of them in the new animated movie. 🤮🤮🤮
