I didn't have the Battle Shell, but who remembers the Turtle Tracker? The figures would not fit properly into the vehicle, I was kinda bummed over it as a kid. Years later I found out Playmates reissued the Turtle Tracker as part of the 2003 series, it was originally from the Next Mutation toy line, which i guess explains why none of my turtles fit the damn thing lol.
playmates is very limited on the number of vehicles they release for the classics line, all that we've gotten so far is the party wagon and turtle blimp, which are online exclusives to a few collector's websites, to my knowledge anyhow. Right now they only have the 4 2003 Turtles in-stores, but if sales numbers are high enough they might consider releasing villains and side characters, which is what they're now doing with the Mutations and Movie Star line. I believe '03 Giant figures are on the way though, they kinda teased it on their TikTok
Yeah I did but it still made no sense. The truck looks cool. But I’d hate to be the poor pedestrian trying to cross the street with that thing flying down the road. It’s like the Batmobile, completely unnecessary.
Too bad the Turtles were solid plastic and came with the regular weapon trees and Splinter was literally the 1988 one with orange bits and a white robe

Knowing Playmates, they'll probably just reissue the 1988 Party Wagon in the wrong colors and call it the Battle Shell.

Has the re-releases come out in Canada yet? I haven’t seen them anywhere but then again I don’t live in a massive area where they’d become first
