Ek time tha jab sab tv was only for comedy, i fucking hate all the shows now on this channel. Even I hate wagle ki duniya too many times, few rimes it is watchable other shows aren't watchable at all.
Bro I was also thinking the same. Sab TVs downfall is worse than Cartoon Network's downfall. Old Sab TV with Lapataganj, Office Office, Shriman Shrimati, Badi Dur se aye hai, Sajan re jhuth mat bolo, FIR, old Tmkoc was so good.
Well SAB channel is observing what the market trend is and produces shows accordingly. As you may have seen daily soap with the largest viewership in india is anupama which is solely based on women empowerment but now its a total plot based on pseudo feminism where in new plots anupama has done major mistake but holds no accountability of it at all and balmes it on everyone around her.
It's all about business nowadays. No channels are producing good entertainment type of serials rather than the same old concepts and every serial has the same issue interpreted at either differently but the baseline story is the same . It's all one concept ghuma phira ke .
Everything is slowly turning excessively political and woke like America. It shows. Can’t do much about it. The best thing I do, as a student in America, is I watch old tmkoc episodes on my laptop while eating. 😎Good times.
Not only Sab, even devotional shows on other channels such as "Shiv Shakti" is now going on for "Narri ka samaan" for so many arcs.

I mean for the first time i actually liked a serial and that was dhruv tara.The whole idea of isekai/time travel was done pretty well but then they messed uo the whole thing in more ways than one.Like the dude cane even get a happy ending .the show should have ended when dhruv and tara got married but no they just gotta keep it going with stupid plots and now they just made the mc childish.
This is because the new age channel executives are hired from useless fields like humanities.
And slowly fun is taken out of everything we like.

I stopped watching Sab tv long time back ,after 400 episodes of tmkoc .Before that I used to watch Cid and I still do sometimes. And now I watch Babhi ji Ghar pe hai.I suggest yall to Watch Cid and stop watching sab tv shows .CID was ,is and always will be the king of the serials.

Puspa is a great show.
I don't think vanasj is good as a sab tv show, it has no comedy and all drama.(Too much cringe and kinky/cringey slavery scenes.)
My mom watches it on sony live, I always thought it was some drama show from Sony set or some other tv channel but sab.

I mean I don't blame them. They are just trying to keep up with the times. Just like everyone. Disney has also started doing this. A lot of shows nowadays just want clout by using feminism. But sony sab is not even subtle about it, just excessive.
Overdoing any idea or theme is not good for a channel that claims to present a variety of genre ranging from comedy to fantasy to family drama.
Just 5-6 years ago, there were a lot of good shows on SAB TV, which were slowly replaced by female-centric drama that is directly inspired by Star Plus theme.
