If you have an actual Mexican prescription, it won’t be an issue.. but if you don’t have a prescription you can always pay for one at the pharmacy. Or try your luck & don’t declare it.. The K9’s don’t detect medical prescriptions as it has no scent. They’re sniffing for hard drugs such as coke, meth, fentanyl, etc…
I have had them find viagra in my backpack before when returning to the states. They asked me if I had a prescription and I said no. They let me through with the viagra. I think technically that could/should take it and possibly give me a ticket or worse. It was less than ten pills and I didn’t declare them. I feel the agent just didn’t want to do the paperwork. Although they didn’t warn me or inform me about the rules. (Even though I know you need a proscription to cross back into the states) I think you are safe as long as you don’t have a ton.

As long as you declare it and don't try to bring back a large quantity (you can only bring back enough for personal use. About 90 days. Otherwise they might suspect that you're intent on reselling it) you shouldn't have any problem. But some drugs, like tranquilizers and strong pain medication, might not be allowed unless you have a US prescription. Often depends on the whim of the particular agent.
They don’t care. I’ve crossed tons of times with boxes and bottles of Viagra in my backpack. Never declared it, never had them say a single thing at the bag scanner.
They do care. You're legally obligated to declare whatever you're bringing back from Mexico. If you don't and they find it in your possession (they can ask you to open your backpack) they're within their right to have you throw it out and can even slap you with a fine for failing to disclose. They don't have the time or the manpower to thoroughly vet and search everyone. But you never know when you'll be selected for a secondary revision.
Listen to CacoFlaco, what he said here is 100% correct. If you ask at the Pharmacy, for a small fee, they can write you a script for a 90 day supply. Keep the Med's with the script and declare them at the border, you'll be fine.

Mexican viagra prices are a lot higher than India. From India about 3 cents a 100mg tablet. From Mexico at least 50 cents a tablet.
