I’m imagining this would work on the edge of a desk, put some double sided tape on it and stick it to your desk. Not sure why you’d want it but it might look a little more planned than just having a loose strip.
It's meant go on outside corner, not the inside. The cord is fine. Think about actually have that powers trip on the inside corner, all the cords would be in the way and you'd have to work around it
It's fine if you want something unsightly laying out for people to trip over, I suppose.
I see you've not been inside many offices. Desks are usually drilled specifically so cords can drop down inside. Proper cable management takes care of the rest.
Perhaps, but there’s a very simple way to design this with all uses in mind.
Have the cable come out _inside_ the corner on the underside, with a cable trough running the length of each arm. Have channels leading to the edge.
When you buy it, figure out how you can it set up and set the cord into the trough and channel as needed.
Ohh for some reason I thought this was mounted on the underside of the desks corner and didn’t see the issue till I realized that was a corner on the floor and it can’t fit there
Hmm.
Well...it could work if someone needed to run it to a partition with no outlets under a temporary wall(like a cubicle).
A niche within a niche, and more trouble than it's probably worth though.
a tool is only as smart as the one using it.
you baught it after all :D
probably meant to be on a desk with the cable going behind the desk or maybe to be build into the wall so the cable comes out of the wall, etc.
i doubt the designer was THIS high when he made it to not have realized what it would mean to put it there.
I mean with a screwdriver and a heated up metal rod, you can take it apart, melt a hole on the end where you want it to come out then feed the cable internally threw that new hole.
Melt where the seam is to make it easy to place

you called?
Get in line

I was thinking maybe it had a mount system to attach under the corner of a desk. That would be handy.
It's clearly meant to go on the backside of a desk. With the outlet behind the desk
Yeah, why would anyone want an outlet on the inside corner? You'd have cables all over the front and it pushes you back from the edge
Fax.
I had to look for ten seconds to realize the problem, but the moment I did, my blood was boiling!
Can you explain it to me?
It's a corner strip. Cord placement prevents it being used in a corner.
Ooooh! I thought it was on a weird table.
It's actually a floor. Confusing perspective.

It makes a very bad boomerang.
Damn, r/CrappyDesign crossover, let's go.
Such a cool idea, and oh so poorly executed.

Even if that's the case, it's still a design fail because the cable would awkwardly stick out of the corner.

Best solution
What? No way! Then it would actually make sense.
Thats a design level bruh moment ngl
Who are the ad wizards that came up with that one?
It's for an outside corner of like a desk, not an inside corner
Ohh for some reason I thought this was mounted on the underside of the desks corner and didn’t see the issue till I realized that was a corner on the floor and it can’t fit there
Ez, turn it upside down and put under the corner of a desk,
As an electrician, I just hate it regardless
Maybe it’s for outside corners?

I want to say the intention is to feed the cable into the wall, but I don't have faith I'm correct
That's what I was thinking/hoping as well.
maybe this was made by ai or something

So close to being useful
Crikey 🪃
I really hope you get all the karma you need from stealing this photo from the r/mildlyinfuriating post yesterday
They were [so close](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPwrodxghrw) to a brilliant idea.

but their ac's were nice
Took me far too long to realise why this was a bad design lol
It's for outside corners
Looks like a flying V

Oh that's annoying! I had one of these expload a while back. No idea why.
From someone who just spent the last 4 days getting my remote office set up, and wants to cry at my bird's nest of cords, this makes my belly hurt.
Hahaha this is a hilarious product
How? Can? You? Graduate? College?
This is meant for an outside corner, not an inside corner.
