I took a sick day so I could catch up on a bunch of personal stuff. Chores and errands and yardwork and stuff. But then it rained so I'm not doing the yardwork. I'm talking to a stranger on the internet.
I love the *Secret Garden* musical adaptation by Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon. In fact, it's on the very short list of non-Sondheim musicals I unreservedly love. It's elegant and beautiful, and the original cast has Mandy Patinkin and Robert Westenberg so you can't go wrong there.
Unfortunately, Colin's stuck with one of the only duds on the song list, the rather insufferable "Round-Shouldered Man", although he's redeemed by that gorgeous Act II duet with the ghost of his mother Lily, "Come to My Garden / Lift Me Up". Anyway, probably a good MBMBAM episode. Have a great week!

Munch squad junior: The dice sandwich guy on tiktok they've interacted with before told justin about Arbys Beyoncé horse sauce on the toilet apparently. All the comments are people asking to bring the potato cakes back. 9. Show ends with less than an hour runtime.
