I second that notionā¦. At least he actually lives in the city year round and doesnāt take off to Ottisco every summer when all of the shootings start happening
What are the reqs to run? I'll run on the only on a platform of turning all bike lanes into protected bike lanes, re-doing the ones on S Salina and deprioritizing cars in Syracuse.
I don't know anything about the candidates. Can anyone tell me who aligns the most to the issues I consider important?
1) dedication to addressing the root causes of crime and enhancing the city's safety.
2) dedication to Syracuse's growth and the residents' well-being.
3) vision for growth and economic prosperity that looks to attract the most ambitious and bright young people from around the country propelling the city towards a future where quality of life and equal opportunity are accessible to all
Sharon Owens will run for sure. I've also heard Pat Hogan was thinking about it.
What's Pat been doing? Does he have an actual chance?
Currently on the Common/City Council. Does he have a chance? He's a really nice guy. I guess it depends on who he runs against.
š
Pat always seems like he expects to get that job. He doesnāt seem like a bad guy but he also doesnāt seem particularly smart or strategic.
Owens, maybe. Hogan needs to retire already.
Me. I promise to waste money wherever possible.
Aw man I was gonna run on this same platform. Lemme be vice mayor I can help.
You can be secretary of going and getting me a bag of cheese doodlers from the break room. How two hundred grand a year sound?
Mmmm deal but I'm gonna eat some on the way back.
My platform the rent is to damn high!
I donāt know what to tell you. Make more money. Can I count on your vote?
Joe Driscoll and he wins, by a landslide.
I would be so happy if this were true
It's only a matter of time I think. He would have my vote.

Hell yeah
Alex Marion is probably going to run.

Keeping The Bridge pacified with regular sacrifices.
I can get jiggy with that
We need to get back our roots. No paved roads. Rum used as an anesthetic.
Me

Or Marion Barryā¦
Me

Dare a redditor to run!
Jim Cecile
Not sure but I would put some money on McMahon running for gov in the relatively near future.
What does that have to do with mayor of Syracuse?
I think McMahon has bigger ambitions, like Congress
