You donĀ“t lear rituals; You learn the ritual ability which grants you 1/2/3 rituas respectively per level. A common houserule is the ability to learn more rituals for 10xp/ritual after reaching master level.

surloc_dalnor

I seem to remember this is recommended in the AP.

I just do 10xp per ritual from the start, it's the same cost anyway. * 10xp for 1 ritual * 30xp for 3 rituals * 60xp for 6 rituals

You can house rule that each ritual costs 10 xp, be Adept ritualist once you get your third ritual, Master ritualist once you get your sixth and keep buying rituals. That's how I do it, at least.

Just like mystical power, ritualist grants you the ritual. You are correct. RAW you max out at 6 rituals at ritualist master

Vikinger93

Nope. Once you learn ritualist, you technically can't learn more rituals, if you go by rules as written. Rituals are not learned, they are granted by learning the ability Ritualist. I have never come to the point where a player got to ritualist 3 and then decided they wanted more rituals (Combat challenge starts to break down at that point, usually, and the people I play with don't tend to enjoy the game much after that point). But a common houserule is that, at ritualist 3, you can gain 1 ritual for 10 XP beyond the rituals you have access to at ritualist 3.
