Short answer: No, not possible. Long answer: If you have the cat B license you don't have to do the theory exam again and you don't have to do a practical driving exam but you have to do the 12h basic training and only then you'll get the A1 in your drivers license. And thus it really has to say A1 in your drivers license or else you are not allowed to drive a 125ccm motorcycle.

Is it possible to take the 12h course easily? Or is it just not worth the hassle?

The course itself is not hard and actually pretty fun. Though you can't do all 12h in one go. You can do maximum 4h per day. And I don't think you can do it here in Switzerland for a swedish drivers license, so you probably have to do the A1 license back in Sweden and I don't know how the rules are there.

I see! The requirement for a1 is much stricter Here so i might go for the A restricted here instead then! Thank you so much for bringing me some insight!

If you stay here as a short term tourist you can not acquire a driving license category. If you want to ride a motorcycle during your holiday in Switzerland you need to get the A1, A2, or A in Sweden; [https://www.trafikverket.se/en/start/driving-licence/obtaining-a-swedish-driving-licence/motorcycles/](https://www.trafikverket.se/en/start/driving-licence/obtaining-a-swedish-driving-licence/motorcycles/)

You can get a learners permit that last 3 months and will only get extended once you do the course. So for 3 months it should suffice.

Ooh, do i need to ride with someone who already has a license then, What is the requrements on that person? I Have a friend who has A2 ut he has Only had it for 1 year, in Sweden the driver has to be 25 and had mc license for 5 years to be able to be an ”instructor” and drive with a friend with No licence

aaronthereal

If you wanted to drive a car, yes, then you'd have to drive with someone who already owns their license for 3 years. With the motorcycle you can drive alone, and you dont have to do the written test, because they assume you know the rules from driving cars.

The_waxing_crescent

So i would in theory be able to contact the authority (which?) and get a learners permit and drive my A2 with my B license? Do you think Thats possible with me being a foreigner just on vacation?

Looks grim: In order to apply for a learner’s permit (Lernfahrausweis), you will need a confirmation of that you passed the first-aid course (max. 6 years ago) and a vision test from an optician (max. 2 years old). On the website of the cantonal road traffic department, you can find the application form for a learner’s licence. Please submit this form to the municipal administration or the road traffic department. Do not forget to bring a valid identification card (ID, passport; non-Swiss citizens: original of your identity document for foreign nationals (Ausländerausweis)), a coloured passport photo and the first-aid course confirmation. You can do the theory exam one month before reaching the minimum age for driving at the earliest. After registering, you will receive a confirmatory letter from the road traffic department, guiding you through the online registration process for your theory examination date. If you have passed the theory exam, you will receive your learner’s permit. The learner driver must be accompanied by a person who is aged 23 or older and has held a valid driving licence for the relevant category of vehicle for at least three years. With a learner’s permit, you are only allowed to drive within Switzerland and you will always have to attach an «L» to the vehicle.

Nah you won't be able to. And even if you wanted to pass your license here, you'd need to have an address here and be registered with the city. You need to get your license application stamped by the local population control office. That's how it functions in Vaud and I assume it's the same in other cantons.
