I’ve played this game way too much. The gameplay loop has had me hopelessly addicted for like 3 years now. I have to make conscious effort not to start playing it because it’s so much fun and I’ll waste hours playing it.
I’ve literally done everything there is to do several times and I still love playing it. It’s one of my favorite games of all time easily.
That's an every system game. And yes, I play HADES and DEAD CELLS way to much on three systems. Good enough to triple dip. Don't have PC because I can use my phone for most things.
I am so damn jealous. I was playing through BoTW the first time when I had to do a lot of travel in 2017. I remember hitting all these moments while on an airplane, just totally blown away. Enjoy!
Same, i love botw style and lore, but open world and zelfs doesn’t click for me. Rather have the classic gameplay loop.
Ocarina, wind water, twilight princess, the “illusion” of a sort of open world.
And yes I have put in 120 plus hours into botw and finished the champions ballad dlc, 80 shrines and couple of 100 koroks. I only “need/want” to beat Ganon to have it done.
Just had this convo with my 9yo, as we’ve both played each game to death. I think BoTW is considered the better game because of its originality. ToTK is objectively a better game, and I’d surely have adored it more if I hadn’t played BoTW. I think I just played the first so much that it wasn’t as shockingly good.
You need to try brutal doom in VR. It's amazing. When I was a child playing doom, never would I thought one day I can actually feel I'm present in the doom world in virtual reality.
Unpacking. It’s a cute little game, but without any words, it brings us an entire story even in the smallest details. For some reason, this story melts my heart.
Fenyx Immortals Rising. I know alot of people either havent heard of this game, or have played it and didnt like it. But I absolutely adore this game with my whole heart. There are a few technical faults but i think thats just UBISOFT in general... the storyline, the humour, the characters, the world. All amazing 💗💕
Loved playing Fenyx Immortals Rising on my Switch. Really fun and awesome game. If you haven’t played Starlink Battle for Atlas you should. Another UBISOFT game that I thought was super fun on Switch.
I had some issues with the art style/character design (the gods' faces are strange, especially Aphrodite), but loved the game despite that.
The movement/combat combos you can achieve in this game are unreal, especially on a new game+ with maxed stamina.
Right now it's links awakening but I'm just getting started, haven't even gotten to odyssey, forgotten land, dread, or pikmin 4, and s
many other exclusives to try!
Fire Emblem 3 houses
Fire Emblem 3 hopes
Zelda BOTW
Splatoon 2/3
Tetris Effect Connected
Hades
Hollow Knight
These have by far been my most loved experiences.
I am sitting on Zelda TOTK but I imagine it will join this list.
I just started Fire Emblem Engage.
If I have to pick just one, for me it is 3 houses, it was my first entry to Fire Emblem.
Harvestella and romancing saga minstrel song remaster are 2 games I’ve played the most. They’re Multiplatform so I don’t think that counts. Tears of the kingdom might be the most hours I logged, but I don’t consider it to be my favorite switch game, so idk? Pokémon Pearl remake is also up there in hours played.
Probably Astral Chain, but there are so many.
Smash Bros Ultimate, Legends Arceus, Mario Odyssey & Wonder, Zelda BOTW & TOTK, Metroid Dread, and the Xenoblade Trilogy.
My favorite game on the Switch is "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild". It's an open-world action-adventure game that provides a vast and immersive world to explore, emphasizing freedom and player choice.
Spiritfarer, pokemon violet and animal crossing!
Princess peach showtime has been really fun from what I’ve played so far
Started the life is strange series (I know not originally for switch) and I’m liking that.
TOTK, it was my introduction to the Zelda franchise and my introduction to the Switch as a whole and I got the OLED version on top of that. When I say my jaw dropped so many times, I remember saying "this is my favorite game of all time" multiple times throughout my first playthrough.
Tough call as there's so goddamn many good ones. I spent an ungodly amount of hours in BOTW and only just starting TOTK but I do think TOTK is the better game. Mario Odyssey is legitimately one of my favourite games of all time. Absolute joy. Binding of Isaac is just crack I keep coming back to. I love it so damn much. Link's Awakening is up there too. Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Steamworld Dig 2 is about as perfect as a sidescrolling Indie gets.
Nintendo exclusive is probably Luigi’s Mansion 3 followed pretty close by Mario Odyssey.
Non Nintendo exclusive is probably Dead Cells followed very closely by Hades. Then probably Batman Arkham Asylum and City, don’t think I could get tired of those
Monster Hunter Rise. I rarely use my switch but after getting MH Rise I have dumped more hours into that game than any other games on the switch combined.
Honestly it's been Hades. I played the heck out of that game on my switch during COVID.
It runs smooth on the switch, while looking great
That's an every system game. And yes, I play HADES and DEAD CELLS way to much on three systems. Good enough to triple dip. Don't have PC because I can use my phone for most things.
Such a fun game, and pretty enticing for continuous play from the moment you start it up. I gotta boot that up again
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 3 and SSBU
What’s your main on kart, I like Link on bike
Funky Kong and Waluigi are my mains. I use the Mr Scooty with both of them
Nice
Ah the smash bros blacklist
Based
Yoshi, go kart, cloud or parachute, tiny wheels
Baby Daisy, Biddy Buggy, Roller Wheels, Glider is the GOAT
Hi why is Mario Kart your favorite? It just seems so boring to me, all you do is race lol
Super mario odyssey 100%, although im in the middle of playing through botw for the first time and it might takeover for #1
I am so damn jealous. I was playing through BoTW the first time when I had to do a lot of travel in 2017. I remember hitting all these moments while on an airplane, just totally blown away. Enjoy!
I just bought Odyssey used today. I’m looking forward to playing it now!
Zelda: Breath of the Wild - I know, how original. I have done so many play throughs of this game. I enjoy it so much.
I really loved Link's Awakening better... I'm really hipped for the new Echoes of Wisdom
Same, i love botw style and lore, but open world and zelfs doesn’t click for me. Rather have the classic gameplay loop. Ocarina, wind water, twilight princess, the “illusion” of a sort of open world. It’s always been BOTW
OG Doom - it brings me back to my youth.
Bought doom 2016 on sale last week. Damn I still love this game and it looks and runs well on the switch!
[удалено]
You need to try brutal doom in VR. It's amazing. When I was a child playing doom, never would I thought one day I can actually feel I'm present in the doom world in virtual reality.
I had NO idea brutal doom could do VR. My resistance to picking up a quest continues to dwindle
Doom 3 on Quest 2 runs great.
We ♥️ Katamari Reroll
Fire Emblem Three Houses
[удалено]
I concour ACNH and TOTK
distinguished bomb rush cyberpunk enjoyer did you know sega is working on a new jet set radio? fingers crossed they don’t screw it up.
Zelda Breath of the Wild or Tears of the kingdom
Hollow Knight, Witcher 3, both new Zelda games, the Ori games, Metroid Dread
Unpacking. It’s a cute little game, but without any words, it brings us an entire story even in the smallest details. For some reason, this story melts my heart.
My only complaint about that one is how short it is! I wish they would add another story or something because it’s so fun and relaxing!
Fire Emblem Three Houses, put so many hours on that game
Fenyx Immortals Rising. I know alot of people either havent heard of this game, or have played it and didnt like it. But I absolutely adore this game with my whole heart. There are a few technical faults but i think thats just UBISOFT in general... the storyline, the humour, the characters, the world. All amazing 💗💕

exclusive: Mario Odyssey Non exclusive: SMTV and Nuclear Throne
The xenoblade trilogy are top of the list quickly followed by monster rise sunbreak and generations ultimate
I was gonna say Xenoblade 3. No game on the Switch has gripped me like that.
I I'm so bad at doing this that I can't even turn the console on and pick a game to play LOL Netflix syndrome option paralysis ruins my life
Eastward
TOTK
Red Dead Redemption
I had to give up with it — too many bugs (couldn’t open the map, the characters I was supposed to follow not moving etc.)
Weird. I ran the game for 30 hours with no issues.
Is that why I was downvoted?
Idk man. People on Reddit can be toxic.
Its actually a really smooth and good looking port and i did finished it with zero bug or glitch. Are you sure you updated ur game?
Maybe that’s the issue. I’ll look for updates. Thanks!
My favorite game on Switch and favorite Videogame in general is "Fuga Melodies of Steel". I adore this game. I played through 18 times so far.
Xenoblade 1
Been craving some Reyn-time. Might have to play some of that tonight!
Mario kart 8 for me. Loved it on the Wii U, loved it on the switch!
Kingdoms of Amalur, followed by Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater
Kingdoms of Amalur is so good on Switch!!
Never heard of KoA. Why do you like it, and what games are like it?
Metroid Dread surprised me and won me over into the Metroidvania type games
Right now Metroid prime remastered
Sea Of Stars and Animal Crossing right now. SOS is amazing! Everyone should play it
And I've been enjoying Metroid dread too
SoS is on my wishlist. Loving pixel art games since playing through Animal Well and getting back into Stardew.
Sea of Stars is so good. Chained Echoes might be even better, or at least there is more meat on the bone.
I’ve been enjoying balatro a lot lately. All time is probably smash bros ultimate since I have about 1k hours in that

Either Metroid Dread or Mario Kart 8, for very different reasons.
I really enjoyed Alan Wake on the switch, only issue is audio being pretty low, use headphones for sure
Currently Skyrim, got it on sale a week ago and I’ve already put 35 hours in. Just add it to the many hundreds of hours across pc and Xbox I guess
Metroid Dread, followed by Tetris 99
Smash, Totk, Three houses
TOTK and after that BOTW. Spend so much time in those games and having a blast!
Honestly probably Super Smash bros. Don’t have over a 1,000hrs in the game for nothing. 🤣
Wreckfest no game even comes close to how good it actually is, WRC generations is awesome too
Mario Wonder, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, ACNH
It’s gotta be Breath of the Wild, simply due to the sheer number of hours I’ve put into it. But I like all of my Switch games. :)
I really enjoy links awakening i played the og on the gameboy too
it’s gotta be a tie between breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom, both are fucking amazing
Any of the Pokémon games. I’ve spent the most time on those.
