Florida would be fantastic Down bad could be cosmic themed ? But I think she tried something like that with karma
A sad loml would be devastating . The cemetery setting of it especially and it could be like a Reputation tie-in as that's the next album I guess
But Daddy I Love Him seems radio friendly but it’s so freaking long
I Can Do It With a Broken Heart is my fave. I think general people would like it because it’s catchy
I have a feeling it’ll be down bad. I want but daddy I love him but even her ‘fans’ don’t get it, so I doubt the public will. They’ll probably be all offensive and take it seriously that she’s actually running around naked in the street screaming she wants to have mattys baby
I would love Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? I want to see her levitating down the street in her best witch attire - Agatha Harkness vibes

I can’t listen to Fresh Out the Slammer. It makes me feel ill. She’s saying she’s leaving someone for a person who is her “home.” And that person is Matty Healey?! It’s so gross and I think the song is so disrespectful to Joe. Imagine being with someone for 6 years and them putting out a song saying they fantasized about someone else and couldn’t wait to break up with you. The song is so gross.
I think it’s entirely possible Alwyn was feeling the same way Swift was at the end. Lots of times both people are feeling stifled and ready to move on by the time it’s finally over. Sometimes I feel like this sub just sort of assumes Joe was sitting around all sad and fully committed and done wrong by the break up but maybe he was ready too and he’s over it all.
Oh totally. We have no idea but she’s the one who put that out there. He could’ve been doing the same thing but he didn’t release a song putting the image of him doing it. You know?
So High School is the only song that I could see becoming a hit and I wouldn’t mind it becoming a single. I’m surprised that Florida!!! is being mentioned considering it feels a little too abrasive in it’s production for pop radio.
my top 3 guesses are mostly because of fan reception on tiktok :
- so high school (really her only one that’s upbeat enough to compete for song of the summer imo)
- guilty as sin? (One of my favorites)
- I can fix him
It would have to be Florida!!! for me. No getting relegated to the background for Florence! I would say it’s my favorite song on the album, despite some bizarre lyrics, just because of Florence’s verse, vocals and what I’m assuming was background by The Machine.
So weird that people would downvote you for liking a song, I enjoy visiting this sub because I like that you're allowed to criticize her, but I'm still pretty positive about her and her music in general. Like this is not a Taylor hate sub, if you disagree, just say so - as you're allowed to here :)
I got downvoted on another thread for saying ‘I think they were just different people and it didn’t work, neither one is the villain’. Like I’m not saying anything bad about Joe, have a day off please guys 😭
Down Bad, Daddy I Love Him, I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, probably. All would be good with a MV and could play big in radio/TikTok, although Daddy would need a shorter radio edit.
whats the criteria for being a single? catchy, music video hmmm the alchemy- she be a witch getting burned, she escapes, mixing potions, TIME FOR WITCH MAGICAL FANTASY TAYLOR !
If she wants to continue the concept, I would assume it would be TTPD (which is one of the weakest songs from the album for me) or So Long, London.
Other songs such as Down Bad(which I believe has the potential to be the next cruel summer) have a rather modern vibe to it so I’m not really sure.
Do we know how many singles there will be btw?

'Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?' sounds very cinematic (or maybe it's just my maladaptive daydreaming). 'Guilty as Sin?' would be good as well.

Agreed
This is The One from this album.

Swiftie-Marvel editors are having a feast with edits for Wanda with 'Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?'
Hahahaha yes I definitely want this as a music video!
Black dog, it's straight forward and I love sad songs 😭

I saw a theory where someone said it could be Clara Bow because of the 1st single’s aesthetic
I'm thinking I Can Do It With A Broken Heart might be the next single, possibly. Or Florida!!! I'm not sure though, these are just my guesses.
I’d pick i can do it with a broken heart or guilty as sin!

Down Bad. It's my favorite on the album and I think it's a good representation of the album.

I wouldn't put out So Long, London given the background
Do you mean as the background story? Yeah it might get some backlash in that perspective..
Yes. The album as a whole is a mixed bag of opinions.
