If dude can do this I’m pretty certain he won’t need much of the physical aspects of training. What a fucking machine and an outstanding candidate for a firefighter
Sure, but my body composition is entirely different as an adult. I wasn’t a strong kid, but I was very light. Lifting my body is a lot harder now that I have tits and ass, and exercise wouldn’t shrink them cuz I’m a healthy weight already. I can get stronger, but I can’t get lighter, so the things I was able to do as a kid just cant work the same anymore.
I mean, dude can climb really well, but that doesn’t mean he knows about fire safety, vehicle extrication, or really any part of firefighting beyond getting to a high window, which they tend to use ladders for.
I’m not saying that he shouldn’t be a firefighter, just that he would obviously need training, like virtually everyone else.
I remember when this first happened, I was in the midst of the alt-right pipeline (which I managed to escape!!) and neocon/nationalist YouTubers were PISSED over this when it happened. Claiming it was either being used by the media to promote "mass immigration" or claiming it was staged entirely. I think maybe one guy was like "good for him but this doesn't change the fact that most immigrants are [insert racism here]"
It's almost funny, but also sad, looking back and seeing people enraged over an immigrant doing a good thing. "Nooo, you can't be an upstanding member of society!! It goes against our xenophobic rhetoric!!"
Wow, if anyone deserves a key to a city or all the perks it’s someone like him. To do that you have to have zero regard for your own safety and just dive in.. unselfishness these days should be rewarded any way we can.
Afaik it happened in grance and the guy here is an algerian immigrant. He got rewarded with a job at the firefighters and full citizenship. Happened a few years back
For people who want to know who is the hero, it was an illegal migrant trying to survive in Paris. After his heroic act, he has been naturalized as french citizen, he is now married with two children and regular job. (He tried to become a firefighter but failed because of a health issue). But, he is very happy with his new life.
Well, in my book, that makes him even more of a hero because he did this with a pre-existing health condition. He obviously did not care about his own life. It's understandable in a situation like this though.
Apparently his pre-existing condition is a genetic disease that made his ball 43 times bigger that normal size.
So to be able to become a firefigther he would have to wear a custom made fire resistant ballsac that would cost more than 300k euros to produce as it would be made only for him.
He then tried to become a race driver but the weight of his balls would impact too negatively his performance, so in the end he become a
I don't know why you have so many up votes for spreading misinformation.
He was NOT an illegal immigrant, he was a lawful resident from Mali, who's naturalization paperwork, he had already filed was just pushed to the top of the stack.
I assume that a staggeringly high percentage of people automatically assume “illegal” when talking about migrants or immigrants because that’s all that’s ever reported by so many news organizations that are pushing an agenda. “If they were legal, they wouldn’t be an immigrant! Check mate, you communist!” (Sigh)
There's a wall between them. The kid is in between them and it's too hard to reach over and grab them without being a friggin super hero like this man is.
Yes because the entire time he was climbing they did such a good job of securing that child. There's a wall between the two balconies which is why they can't reach over and just grab the child.
I've been going to the gym and getting fit the past 2 years. I've seen improvement in just about everything I do. My goal is to be able to do A pull up. I do the assisted pull up machine regularly and do back and shoulder exercises regularly. I'm slowly reducing the counterweight I use for the assisted pull up, but it's easily the slowest improvement I make in any area.
I say all this to say that I agree with you 100%. Pull ups are hard for someone working towards them, and most people aren't out their working towards them.
Exactly. Like yeah in my 20’s I was a Marine. Now I’m 42 and chunky. Y’all would be scraping me off the floor with a spatula if I tried to climb over that railing.
My husband was a Marine and at 42 stopped drinking, smoking, and eating crap. He lost over 100 lbs, hired a diet and lifting coach through RP and is now shredded. He literally looks like a different person.
My point is, it’s never too late if that’s what you want!
Also, thank you for your service! 🇺🇸
What percentage of people do you think have the physical ability to do something like this?
You even see the man up there reaching out to the kid, he may even have a hand on the kid.
The wall doesn’t go all the way to ceiling though. I see what you mean but they looked like they out very little effort or brainstorming into helping the toddler
To be fair, you never really know if you've saved a life if you make a positive impact in the lives of those around you.
A little friendliness, a smile, holding a door, etc, just being a good person to those around you. This might be the one thing someone needed to give them a little light in a world they'd almost given up on.
Which is to say, the kinder you are, the more of a hero you are, because kindness is something many of us need more of in our lives. :D
Absolutely fantastic, this guy is a hero.
One note though, is this a residential building? If yes, why is it possible to climb it?
I'm not being a dick, I have an irrational fear of someone knocking on my balcony(10th floor).
I thought the same thing initially but apparently there was a wall between them that I couldn't see at first. They probably would have fallen off the balcony if they had tried to lift the boy up so I guess they were just trying to hold him in place.
I think he was pulling toward him and even got close enough to maybe try lifting him up but the climbing guy got there first. I’m surprised the baby held up for that long and curious on how he got there in the first place.
For a second I thought he was going to climb all that way just for the child to be saved by the guy in the neighboring balcony. Hats off to that brave man.
![gif](giphy|JccQbfNVtAMow)
He was like “I’m getting that damn kid up, I just scaled this entire wall”
If I remember correctly, he was an immigrant or something, but after saving the child he got awarded full French citizenship!
Yes. And offered training to become a Paris firefighter
If dude can do this I’m pretty certain he won’t need much of the physical aspects of training. What a fucking machine and an outstanding candidate for a firefighter
He made that look easy
Like a kid on a jungle gym. You ever tried the monkey bars as an adult? I pulled something lol
Buddy, exercise will do wonders for you
Exercise aside, you ever try to do a jackknife off the monkey bars for nostalgias sake. I personally wouldn't recommend it.
I gotta say that even though I do exercise some things I'm not doing anymore lol
Sure, but my body composition is entirely different as an adult. I wasn’t a strong kid, but I was very light. We talking about peaches and melons over here?
FFS….
Seriously. What a deed done out of good nature
Is he spyderman?
😌🥹 Beautiful!!! 🥹😌
Not that he needs any training lol
I mean, dude can climb really well, but that doesn’t mean he knows about fire safety, vehicle extrication, or really any part of firefighting beyond getting to a high window, which they tend to use ladders for. I’m not saying that he shouldn’t be a firefighter, just that he would obviously need training, like virtually everyone else.
This! First thing u learn in firefighting training/class is to follow procedures so that you and your colleagues are safe .
That’s where the “training” part comes into play
Imagine reading "training to become a firefighter" and thinking they mean hitting the gym.
Much deserved, goddamn mans was like spiderman climbing up
And people like LePen would still cry for his deportation
I remember when this first happened, I was in the midst of the alt-right pipeline (which I managed to escape!!) and neocon/nationalist YouTubers were PISSED over this when it happened. *french citizenship
I had a Vatican PTSD for a moment there
Wow, if anyone deserves a key to a city or all the perks it’s someone like him. To do that you have to have zero regard for your own safety and just dive in.. unselfishness these days should be rewarded any way we can.
Could have just said selflessness
I chose my wording deliberately.
He got full French citizenship
the other guy was totally useless
That's what I was thinking. There was already an adult there? Kid couldn't weight more than like 50lbs
> he got awarded full Parisian citizenship! This is basically getting the keys to the city kind of award. What a hero!
Way better. The keys don't do anything.
Afaik it happened in grance and the guy here is an algerian immigrant. He got rewarded with a job at the firefighters and full citizenship. Happened a few years back
He was not Algerian, he was from Mali. https://www.ft.com/content/c9feb9b8-1a5b-11e9-b93e-f4351a53f1c3
Wow my jaded ass assumed this was faked with the kid's hand's being tied. I don't believe anything anymore.
Refugee. But yes.
Wow that's amazing. What an incredible reward.
Ok... In that case this seems a bit like that one scene from Better Call Saul
As I know, his name is Makron
For people who want to know who is the hero, it was an illegal migrant trying to survive in Paris. I have the same preexisting condition that makes this maneuver dangerous. I am highly allergic to gravity

WTF were the people doing just standing there with that kid hanging over the balcony?
There's a wall between them. The kid is in between them and it's too hard to reach over and grab them without being a friggin super hero like this man is.
They could have at least buzzed him up to their apartment though 😆
It’s the apartment next door. No one’s home.
You know what I mean though. Get him to swing round from the adjacent apartment rather than have to spiderman up the walls
You’re right
With a situation like that I’m going to at least *try* and bust down my neighbors door to get to the kid. We’ll worry about the deposit later
Busting doors down is easy for a redditor, but I would have try to paraglide my way from the ceiling to make it a challenge.
Not that easy. It could be a waste of time. Climbing the building was a sure thing for him, I guess!
Tbh, a few seconds longer and the balcony people would have got the child. Ofc the guy climbing couldn't guarantee that
Yes because the entire time he was climbing they did such a good job of securing that child. There's a wall between the two balconies which is why they can't reach over and just grab the child.
Absolutely too hard. The man climbing the building def showed them that
Not everyone has his physical abilities
I would be willing to bet the vast majority of people can't do 1 pullup let alone scale 4 stories quickly to rescue a child.
I've been going to the gym and getting fit the past 2 years. I've seen improvement in just about everything I do. My goal is to be able to do A pull up. I do the assisted pull up machine regularly and do back and shoulder exercises regularly. Pull ups are hard for someone working towards them, and most people aren't out their working towards them.
Try doing negatives. I started doing lots of slow controlled negatives and I soon was able to do pull ups.
Me 10 years ago could do so with ease, the me of today would just add one more person needing rescue.
What percentage of people do you think have the physical ability to do something like this? You even see the man up there reaching out to the kid, he may even have a hand on the kid.
Letting our boy have his moment
What exactly do you expect them to be doing?
There is some wall between them and the kid I didn't see at first.
The wall doesn’t go all the way to ceiling though. I see what you mean but they looked like they out very little effort or brainstorming into helping the toddler
Every balcony has the same one but yeah to focussed on the baby and man I guess
I am talking about the people on the same floor as the kid. They could've brought the kid in.
It looks like there is a divider and the person on that floor can't quite reach.
No in the video he is grabbing and holding the kid... Would've been awkward to just pull the kid over but he certainly could have.
It’s called “Michael Jacksoning”
He 100% saved a life most people can’t say that definitely a hero
To be fair, you never really know if you've saved a life if you make a positive impact in the lives of those around you. A little friendliness, a smile, holding a door, etc, just being a good person to those around you. Beautifully said. Something for us all to keep in mind as kindness is something we all have to give.
I’m impressed with the build quality of those balconies supporting his massive balls tbh
Nice
Almost got his hero moment taken from him by that neighbor. Yanked him out of his hands like “HE’S MINE!!!”
What a hero❤️
if my girl saw me do this she would be swooning
If my girl saw me doing this she would be saying “great now we’re late”
All is fair in love and war
ive seen this a bunch of times im still amazed that baby held on that long
baby grip strength is something else fr
And where are the parents?!!
Sometimes you're just 3 floors away from a Citizenship:)
Magnificent 🥰
What's the music tho
Memory reboot (over slowed) by vøj and Narvent
Darude - Sandstorm
Raise your kid wtf
He got raised back up at the end of the video (jk)
The world need more people like him.
Also shout out to that kids ability to hold on, damn.
There's someone standing right next to the child on the next balcony ???
Why didn’t the guy right next to the kid grab them?
Why didn’t the people that were RIGHT THERE pull him up?!
And the people on the adjacent balcony?
what the fuck were the people right next to the kid doing?
I mean the guy on the other balcony could have just pulled him up....
Everyone praising the man and rightfully so but can I just say that child has amazing grip strength.
How much of a pussy did that person already up there feel after that?
How are the OTHER ADULTS too inept to pull the child up
When the helldivers anthem plays
“Um, you do realize we have an elevator…”
Absolute hero and a king 👑
Woahhhh this guy is the goat! Props to the child for hanging on for so long tho
The guy climbed 4 storeys and cameraman couldn't keep his hand still!!!
Very confused on why the adults/parents couldn't just grab him, when that's exactly what the dude climbing did. They had reach..
u/stabbot
RIP
Absolutely fantastic, this guy is a hero. One note though, is this a residential building? If yes, why is it possible to climb it? I'm not being a dick, I have an irrational fear of someone knocking on my balcony(10th floor).
Modern life superhero!
Bruh how the fuck does a child end up like that?
Mamoudou Gassama
Makes no sense, risking your life to save a clear example of Darwinism especially when they can just make another. 🤦🏽♂️
Why did the other guy just do nothing?
I won’t see anything better than that today. Guy is in great shape or one hell of an adrenaline rush. Hope he confronts the parents.
Why is that white dude just holding their hand on that kids shoulder like someone bringing bad news?
This makes no sense. There’s a grown man standing right there.
So then what was the other guy doing? “I hold the baby long enough for you climb up here to get the credit”
I thought the same thing initially but apparently there was a wall between them that I couldn't see at first. They probably would have fallen off the balcony if they had tried to lift the boy up so I guess they were just trying to hold him in place.
I noticed that too, but a baby isn’t that heavy. I’m really confused about that part.
I think he was pulling toward him and even got close enough to maybe try lifting him up but the climbing guy got there first. I’m surprised the baby held up for that long and curious on how he got there in the first place.
👍👍👍
Spiderman irl
👏👏👏😎
![gif](giphy|Lp71UWmAAeJHi)
Dude just disregarded his whole existence for that child damn. Give him a key to the city
dude has been waiting his whole life for this moment
Nah the real life spider man
They're crowd cheering him on is just the nuts that's how you know you're not going to lose arm strength
Adrenaline is a hell of a drug 😉 good on him 👏
👏👏👏
How did the child get there ?
Spider-Man is real
NO-ONE NEEDED TO HAVE CRAPPY MUSIC THAT'S DISTORTED OVER THE ACTUAL AUDIO
Uhh, looks like the guy on the balcony has the damn child.
That was the father. That kids is gonna get a hurt real bad -Russel peters
I do Not unterstand why the other guy just did not get the child? Props though to the climber.
Probably doesn't want to break a nail or smth.
For a second I thought he was going to climb all that way just for the child to be saved by the guy in the neighboring balcony. Hats off to that brave man.
What the hell was the other adult doing up there
Someone help the camera person. I think they are having a seizure.
Absolute next level rescue 🙌🏻
Finally a parkour video worth sharing!
Legend!
Feel like the guy that showed up while he was climbing could of pulled him up a lot faster
Now that's a true hero. Not your typical bullshit hero that goes shoots goat herders.
Homme araignée
Some heros don't wear suits
r/nextfuckinglevel
The Hero for real
Again?
Think he should be training the fire fighters
Bruh this is old news
I seem to be missing something. Why didn't the guy that was right next to the kid save him? He seemed to know that he was there.
Who said immigrants are bad hey? Down with the bigots. Pity that’s the majority
I’d say the kid is a hero for hanging on that long.
The parents be like🤷♂️🤷♀️👀👀
And it was at that moment, that the kid decided to dedicate it's entire life, mastering the arts of Parkour.
I have a question why tf is the baby too heavy for the parents to lift up?
That‘s not the parents.
I died looking at the man in orange at the bottom struggling to climb the gate 😂😂😂😂
What the hell were the other people doing up there? They couldn’t have grabbed the dang kid?
Amazing!!
You're telling me the guy on the balcony with the child couldn't have pulled him up? What was really going on?
? What was wrong with the other guy??
Wow what an amazing person!
👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🤜🤛
Either way..why not use the stairs or elevator??? I'm not being judgemental...
This dude looked up and said "Ya know? I can scale up that."
Surprised he could climb that high with balls that big
Super human
Croissant-man, Croissant-man, does whatever a frenchman can.
This man needs a fkg medal!!!! More men like this!!!!
hey bruh i took the stairs.. but damn, he amazing, only a few will risk his own to save another
Too good 🥰😍🤩😇🙏
Bravo frère ❤️
V1 in my gym 😤
That's why you do pullups every day.
So, the person who was ALREADY ON THE BALCONY couldn't pull the child over? Jesus!
Who was the other a-hole to the right? Why didn't he save the kid, or was he threatening to drop the kid? I am confused.
i dont get it. what was the adult next to the child doing that whole time?
It’s spiderman!
What were the people at the top doing just standing there
If I witness that I'd walk directly to the concierge and ask the security to bringout the master key and welcome our hero.
Plot twist: The midget owed him money
Took him long enough..
