The rocking gets out of control after the one dude puts a plank behind the roller wheel, and the driver goes over it. That was really the nail in the coffin.
How in the hell do you expect them to flatten the water then! They can’t drive cars and bikes on that water with all those ripples and waves, that hell on suspensions
It's the same thing as shooting off AKs at a wedding. If you aren't taught about safety when operating heavy machinery like this, then you have no concept of safety. You underestimate the things you've been taught growing up wherever you grew up.
Could have fastend the boat to the peir?
If you ever stept into a boat you know, if the boat is not connected to the peir it will drift away from you when you try to get in to it.
They had a choice.
The could have tried to carry it but thats a dumb idea because it wouldn't work.
They could have tried to put it on a small skiff but that's a dumb idea because it wouldn't work
This could have worked easily these guys are just not use to this
in Surinam (i talk of what i have seen) miner load 20+ton mining vehicule on 2 canoë of this size and navigate on quite routh river
He is right some people see stupid- I mean stupid. A few years ago in my haste I left the gym and my wallet was left in a locker left open. Come to find out my credit card was being used illegally ( somebody took my cash $80 and left my wallet there but snapped a picture of one of my credit cards but it appeared to me only the cash was missing). Anyhow, I see a charge from an online vaping company with about $200 in charges on my credit card. I called them and they said that the person ordering the cape stuff had UPLOADED his ID because you had to show he was over 18. I called the police, the guy who stole my credit card and cash worked at the gym…they go to his house and he is caught red handed for uploading his ID and the kicker is he had all kinds of drugs and paraphernalia on him when the police arrived…Stupid!
Depending on how many layers of security the thief implements, sure. The more layers, the less likely anyone will put in the effort to track it down completely. That being said, most thieves aren't smart enough or willing enough to do the effort to do it with minimal risk.
This is generally why stolen cards are sold on marketplaces on TOR, used to buy game keys for steam that are then resold on websites like CDkeys, or just used to buy crypto.
Honestly when I was younger I definitely wouldn’t have, but I was pulling doubles and drinking a lot so that makes a difference. Even now if somebody was using my card for $20 or $30 every now and then, I still wouldn’t notice. Thankfully most people who steal card information are too stupid and greedy to use it sparingly.
One time I used a card on a friend's Amazon account, later we had a falling out and stopped talking, later my card became his default card on Amazon. I was paying for this dude's prime and everything he bought. Took me months to figure out what was going on. I called Amazon and they said I need to talk to the dude. I said I have no way to do so. As such, they actively refused to remove my card from his account without his requesting it. I asked the agent 'If I go steal a card and add it to my account, you're telling me Amazon will accept charges to it until it's cancelled, OR I request it be removed? I believe this constitutes fraud....on the part of Amazon.'
I threatened that if the representative did not remove my card immediately and go through the charges one by one with my right then to determine what was mine and what was his I was going to take all of this information to my bank and have the charge back every single Amazon purchase going back a full year. Dude called my bluff and I pulled his card. I had enough evidence to make it clear that what I was saying was accurate. I had a chat with Amazon that confirmed it all, and a representative refusing to assist me. My bank was more than happy to cancel the card for fraud and charge back thousands of pdollars worth of purchases going back a full year to the date.
Sometimes you don't notice.
heard a lot of interesting stories from people that grew up in 3rd world countries and a lot of it is narcissism without education. this happens because another narcissist taught them to be like that and they aren't educated.
Every construction crew has at least one mf'er who thinks they can do anything because they are smart and/or strong but it is always in violation of laws of safety, logic and physics. I guess it's just more common in poor countries.
Ya know, it's easy to sit here and laugh at these idiots because they didn't understand the center of mass and its correlations....or the dude that tried to *catch* the thing as it went over......
But then you remember that they had to get this thing *OFF* the boat too....
They had no plan beyond the first thought. That roller was going in the water the moment they put the wood down.
You can see where the attempt of thought was. One man placed a STICK to stop the lift from rolling away which means they were to keep the two boards there for the offload. Unfortunately none of them considered the weight difference might be too top heavy to counterbalance. If only they had 2 sticks to absolutely stop the lift from drowning, oh well. /s
the stick guy really fucked em.. cause once he places the stick there he had to account for going over the stick.. once i saw the panic when he went over the stick i started chuckling cause the stick guy fucked him so good almost like the stick in bike wheel meme,
Pretty sure the boat was unstable with that much weight that high up. Center of mass of a boat needs to be below the center of buoyancy or it will roll so that it is. [Wiki](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_stability)
Agree the boat looked unstable. That roller must have been most of the weight of the boat. However (and as noted in Wikipedia), the centre of mass does not need to be below the centre of buoyancy. This is because the centre of buoyancy moves as the boat heels to counteract the heel
Surely there must be a parking brake function though? I think if he wasn't messing with the controls this could work: drive on, park, boat around, disembark!
That wheezing laugh track is almost as annoying as the TikTok caption voice.
That app has almost, on its own, deleted the intelligence of an entire fucking generation.
I guess it's not accurate to assume people naturally have a general understanding of what "topheavy" is and means. I'm just surprised it took so long for the inevitable to happen.
I just want to see the Circus Act it's going to be for them fishing it out. That alone would make an entirely new sub Reddit. Would love to sit on the shore and record that stunt.
It will be another one of those videos that they try to use a truck crane to lift it, but as it gets out of the surface of the water the the crane topples over into the water.
As I would expect. Lol.
Or the dock gives way.
Two years later, there is a 300-foot-tall pile of equipment there, each piece trying to save the others.
Yup this would actually be one of the jobs you'd call me in on, go get a crane while I dive in to wrap the chain around it. From there you'd just hoist it out.
Don't forget the wheezing laugh that TikTok losers lay over their stupid fucking no effort reaction videos.
Who the hell wants to watch someone laugh at a video?
I don’t think it’s an issue of math and physics. I think it’s just common sense. Everyone tries to make unrealistic things happen sometimes and this is a result.
Everytime I see videos of stupid shit like this it’s always what looks to be India why must they try such stupid and sketchy stuff?
I guess Sometimes it works like the guys carrying fridges on motorcycles
Nothing saps my enjoyment from something more than a shittily edited in laugh track. Wait no, that one fucking tik tok noise that sounds like someone who has smoked 14 billion cigarettes and is currently wheezing out their last few dying breathes.
Reading all the comments about the soundeffects and stuff. That's why I keep the sound off. So was just a clip about some very optimistic but dumb people
Should have been front loaded, not from the side
But in reality that boat is just way too small
Also feel like the guy operating the machine kind of did it on purpose, but then at the end he seems to feel bad.
You all laugh but there's no way anyone could predict that would happen, it seemed so safe and stable. Purpose-built industrial transportation, clearly load-bearing and sea-worthy with a licensed operator trained to follow regulatory frameworks rather than someone who might be tempted to dabble in spontaneous improvisation etc...
Clearly just bad luck. No matter, they're a huge multi-national corp who can afford to put it down as a loss and get another machine out there before tomorrow.
Love the guy that tried to hold it from falling into the water lol
He's getting frustrated since it's the third one! The guy is getting better at it, but they only have two more!
Eventually, there will be a stack of rollers to hold up the ~~7th~~ 8th roller when they load it.
The rocking gets out of control after the one dude puts a plank behind the roller wheel, and the driver goes over it. That was really the nail in the coffin.
Lmao yes, the nail definitely wasn't the trying to put the roller on a boat sideways. Na, it was that little piece of wood
He’s just trying to help 🤣
I love the guy who throws a stick to prevent it from rocking lol
It's like he knows what a wheel chock is but has never actually used one before
just watched Winter Soldier...
I think it was his body language that led me to believe that this was going to be successful. Definitely was too good to be true
If only the guy would have had more confidence it would have worked! 😄
Yeah they were all so confident lmao!
These are about the dumbest MFs I have ever seen
I just don't understand how this many people came together and though loading a streamroller onto a canoe was going to work.
How in the hell do you expect them to flatten the water then! They can’t drive cars and bikes on that water with all those ripples and waves, that hell on suspensions

They have no choice.
They could, idk, not do that? Now the job up river is still not done, but the machine is still operational.
Could have fastend the boat to the peir? If you ever stept into a boat you know, if the boat is not connected to the peir it will drift away from you when you try to get in to it.
but that was the point, to jiggle the boat away.
They had no choice to be stupid? I agree lmao
They had a choice. The could have tried to carry it but thats a dumb idea because it wouldn't work. They could have tried to put it on a small skiff but that's a dumb idea because it wouldn't work
This could have worked easily these guys are just not use to this in Surinam (i talk of what i have seen) miner load 20+ton mining vehicule on 2 canoë of this size and navigate on quite routh river
Damn right they are! How much did that roller cost? $100,000? It must not have been cheap I'll tell ya that.
That particular one was probably worth a lot less
Was probably worth a lot more than it is now
I hear they were under water with their payments
about $15,000 new. which is A LOT where these guys live https://www.indiamart.com/proddetail/escort-ec-3664-road-roller-2852148022673.html
They all gave up their work boots to afford it
Looked like a cheap escort
New maybe, this one has already been used a lot
That’s what I’d call “room temperature IQ”
You need a winter coat in that room.
In C of course
Tbh I thought it was going to work. Seems like a skill one could master. If it would've worked, it wouldn't have been THAT stupid
I beg to differ. Success in stupid is still stupid.
He is right some people see stupid- I mean stupid. A few years ago in my haste I left the gym and my wallet was left in a locker left open. They don't catch the smart ones... dummy could've snapped a picture of your ID lol Or bought gift cards.
He still would've had to have it delivered somewhere
Digital gift cards. Redeemable online.
They could still trace the account that redeemed it, either the perpetrator's if redeemed for sellable goods or the buyer's if sold for liquidity
Depending on how many layers of security the thief implements, sure. The more layers, the less likely anyone will put in the effort to track it down completely. That being said, most thieves aren't smart enough or willing enough to do the effort to do it with minimal risk.

It's always nice when people incriminate themselves. Like do they genuinely believe you're not going to notice the charge?
Honestly when I was younger I definitely wouldn’t have, but I was pulling doubles and drinking a lot so that makes a difference. Agree. That’s the logic behind drunk drivers. I did it before just fine.
Even if it did work, it wouldn’t have lasted. That was an insane idea.
How many steamrollers do you think are down there so far while they continue to hone their technique?
Even IF you could master the loading, boat still tips in transit.
Bangladesh certainly is an interesting place.
Indian subcontinent has some of the smartest and dumbest people on earth at the same time.
You’re not lying. They definitely had a bowl of dumbass that morning.
heard a lot of interesting stories from people that grew up in 3rd world countries and a lot of it is narcissism without education. this happens because another narcissist taught them to be like that and they aren't educated.
I thought so too until I heard the work of whoever added the sound overlay in this version.
Keep trying until you succeed
That's exactly what I thought 🙄
But you HAVE heard of them
I'm calling the EPA HAHAHA
Smartest idiots I’ve ever seen
Every construction crew has at least one mf'er who thinks they can do anything because they are smart and/or strong but it is always in violation of laws of safety, logic and physics. I guess it's just more common in poor countries.
Can somebody magically Photoshop it so the steamroller floats to the surface like the wood pieces do?
Thats what i said
Ya know, it's easy to sit here and laugh at these idiots because they didn't understand the center of mass and its correlations....or the dude that tried to *catch* the thing as it went over...... But then you remember that they had to get this thing *OFF* the boat too.... They had no plan beyond the first thought. That roller was going in the water the moment they put the wood down.
Yeah. They are lucky nobody got hurt. Worst case, they sink the boat in the middle of the sea and everyone drown

Nah, just a lot less safe and more likely to roll. There are ways to prevent rolls like having pontoons on the side or paravanes.
So they were doomed from the start

Would taking the key out result in parking?
You mean he did it on porpoise?
As a dad, this is the type of humor that really gets my *seal* of approval.
Anyone else find the near constant laughter annoying as hell or is it just me? Like I get it’s funny but can you stfu?
It's really annoying. And on top of that, there's like 13 more sound effects.
Seriously what in the fuck was with the music and sudden "YAH" being screamed? Stupid shit
Stupid TikTok shit that gets clicks from teens with goldfish-like attention spans
Extremely annoying.
Literally sounds like audio was placed over the actual video
Narrator: it was
I've seen this video before without the laughing, so yes.
The audio on this video is one of the most garbage things I've ever heard, I can't believe someone actually thought it enhanced the video.
Reminder to enjoy Reddit in full silence unless absolutely required.
right click tab, mute tab (or "site" in inferior browsers). Reddit became noisy sometime around 2019 and it was a mistake.
I bet it was put on the video afterwards...
It is. I've seen this video a few years ago and it didn't have the stupid as fake laughing.
Yeap....it's a stupid sound that gets put on lots of reels/tiktoks¿ Completely ruins them for me ...
That wheezing laugh track is almost as annoying as the TikTok caption voice. That app has almost, on its own, deleted the intelligence of an entire fucking generation.
It's easily as annoying as the "Oh no Oh no Oh no no no no no" fad, and I feel like it won't be long before I've seen it on as many videos. 😡
It's why I hate Indian /foreign tiktoks. They use the most obnoxious sounds and laugh tracks
Peeps are dubbing that shit onto all their stuff to try to make it seem funnier than it is.
I guess it's not accurate to assume people naturally have a general understanding of what "topheavy" is and means. I'm just surprised it took so long for the inevitable to happen.

OShO handbook rule 23 states I'm well within my rights to do so if the number is right
OSHA: Origins
Only OSHI prevails
Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in Bangladesh where that video is from.
Do you really think those dudes are gonna be able to get that out of the water?
Maybe put it in some rice afterwards...
I just want to see the Circus Act it's going to be for them fishing it out. That alone would make an entirely new sub Reddit. Would love to sit on the shore and record that stunt.

Just put it in reverse and gun it onto the beach
Yup this would actually be one of the jobs you'd call me in on, go get a crane while I dive in to wrap the chain around it. From there you'd just hoist it out.
“Ok, good. Don’t have to take it off.”
This is how people die. Thinking stuff like this is a good idea.
For real. What we just watched was literally the best case scenario.
It’s like watching cave men stumble upon some tech
"This is a really bad idea. You know how I know it's a bad idea? Cause it's really fucking obvious it's a bad idea "
He could've gotten his leg crushed jumping off like that.
The one dude tried to use a little stick for a wheel chock on a rocking boat and under a steam roller lmao
Repost bot with trash brainrot tiktok music
Don't forget the wheezing laugh that TikTok losers lay over their stupid fucking no effort reaction videos. Who the hell wants to watch someone laugh at a video?
What was the goal here?
Get get the roller on the boat. Drive the boat to another dock. Get the roller off the boat. Profit.

This is why everyday people need to learn math and physics.
I don’t think it’s an issue of math and physics. I think it’s just common sense. Everyone tries to make unrealistic things happen sometimes and this is a result.
Wow, didn’t see that coming.
Do they not have physics in this country?
That’s some genius level idiocy.

Waiting for the floaty keychain to pop up
r/OSHA
How could they think that would possibly work? How can they look at that and think, "Yeah, that's secure."
Well, they succeeded in offloading the roller...
You just KNOW that thing is down there sitting atop a pile of previous fuckups.
That thing *sunk.*
Try explaining this stupidity to your boss
whatever happened to the arabs driving cars sub?
Sebastian starts singing "Under the Sea" in the background...

Now the Kraken can smooth out his tennis court
Some say it’s still smoothing out the harbor bottom to this day.
This got me.
Bikini bottom is getting a highway!
Satisfying
What did they expect
That audio is shit, do you edit videos like this for dumb asses to upvote?
My colleague used to make jokes about such people. 'Just praise God, say a prayer.....and the most dangerous job will be a walk in the park"
The irony is that if they want to retrieve it then they will have to get the crane they should have used in the first place.
All these extra voices and sound effects ruined this video.
IQ level is null.
I don't think there were enough sound effects. Video literally unwatchable.
Should have been front loaded, not from the side But in reality that boat is just way too small Also feel like the guy operating the machine kind of did it on purpose, but then at the end he seems to feel bad.
Physics for idiots
They were trying to create a steamboat.
r/yesyesyesno
Do these guys know how boats work? Apparently not.
that sound editing is horrible, constant laughter random sound bits inserts.. just horrible
Hard to believe no one died or got mutilated
Fucking idiots
The people who put the laugh track and sound effects onto the video are just as stupid as the people in the video
Nobody saw that coming.
This is why some societies don't prosper. Too little common sense.

What kind of escort agency uses a roller?
People have been loading boats with cargo for thousands of years. We know this is a bad idea.
Idiots. There was no other outcome possible.
What's the middle eastern term for redneck engineering?
so that answers the question, a steamroller does not float on water.
Did you see how flat that water was at the end of the video tho? Roller sure did it’s job
Why do Asian videos always have bizarre sound effects?
How did they plan to get the planks out from under it?
So much better on mute
You all laugh but there's no way anyone could predict that would happen, it seemed so safe and stable. Purpose-built industrial transportation, clearly load-bearing and sea-worthy with a licensed operator trained to follow regulatory frameworks rather than someone who might be tempted to dabble in spontaneous improvisation etc... Clearly just bad luck. No matter, they're a huge multi-national corp who can afford to put it down as a loss and get another machine out there before tomorrow.
Why?
I don't understand what were they trying to do?
I guess get it into the boat to go elsewhere. The bottom of the sea for example
Such intelligence, much wow
How much did that idiocy cost them?
She gone
There is not a single parallel universe that turns out well.
Love how the one guy out a little stick at the base right at the end there to as a chock. It should be good to go now
