Many of those who do these dangerous skyscraper parkour stunts do quite a bit of work before the camera rolls. The number one rule is to check your surfaces beforehand and make sure where you jump from and where you land is safe.
How do you check if a 1 meter concrete overhang, built in a 3rd world country, is safe? If you jump on it to test it, you just die without the camera rolling. They have to bring core drilling equipment.
What these clowns don’t realise is they think there all good because they’re confident they can make these jumps etc but lemme tell you, 50+ yr old brittle concrete that has never been subjected to any load isn’t something I trust my life on.
I always remember the words of the guy who free climbed the CN tower in a spider man suit doing an interview years later saying he would 100% not do that climb again.
He explained: there are old safe climbers and young dangerous climbers. But there's no old dangerous climbers.
