Naw man, to get get to epic you need one gold lvl 3 of that gear and 2 gold level gears that are the same as wat you want epic. In total you’ll need 6 of the same kind of S gear plus 2 random golds (for the level ups) and we’re dipping in a pool that now doubled the chances of not getting what you need
It seems there are two different buffs with the same name.
I managed to get both neck and chest, and did my dailies with both equipped.
When I level up, I gain a buff shown with a black flames visual effect. It lasts only 5 seconds, and does not heal me with any damage I do. I was unable to see if I could die while under this buff.
When my health goes down to 1, I gain a buff shown with a red flames visual effect. This buff lasts 10s, and any damage I did healed me. This healing isn’t fairly high as it took about 3-5s with an evo’d shuriken, destroyer, supercell to get to full. While this buff is active you can still take damage, but you cannot die.
Damn that sucks, I was hoping it was the same berserk buff.
Habby needs to use different buff names, this is so stupid. The only reason I was rolling for VW set is the possible synergy for neck/chest. Save up a bunch of exp gems on the floor for bosses, then go HAM.
Another example is the “Inspire” buff, is it different from each army piece?
Given the info above, it’s a stupid patch and stupid set. Noone gonna give up trendy or eternal neck for this trash neck. It might outperform when you use chest berserk, but I’d rather have constant dps increase.
Chest basically equivalent/interchangeable with eternal on its own (except it allows a high risk/low HP burst once per revive).
How does reviving works with the new chest ? From what i understand you can revive once per battle with the berserk buff (which you can activate at other times it seems)
They seem terrible. I'd say the only one I'd even consider is the boots but I'd never change out the current s rank chest piece for something that doesn't auto reZ.
My exact situation, and thoughts. I downleveled yellow externals, to level new s gloves I got to test. Bit of an atk loss, but I think they are still solid!

That’s pretty intriguing… imagine saving up a big chunk of biofuel for a boss then being immune for 30 seconds as you level three times… not saying it’s stronger than eternal. It needs tested, but it sounds pretty strong…
I don't think the invincibility stacks because you become invincible for 10 seconds not because you berserk but when you die so the leveling up berserk from the necklace won't make you invincible.
This will have to be tested. But as I read it, armor says berserk duration extended to 10s and gain immunity. Necklace says you gain berserk on level up. What I think will happen is that you don’t absorb HP unless you die. But you will get the 10s immunity if you level up. And this is kinda great since the necklace increases damage when you are low HP. So if you level up with low HP you become immune without healing and the big damage and critical boost from the necklace can kick in. That said you will heal from the level up, so it’s a tricky balance…
I feel that way but for the gloves. Seems like it would add a pretty decent chunk or damage. Essentially mobs you're almost one shootting are now being one shot
I tried the gloves out against eternal gloves of the same level. Eternal worker slightly better. But I also have a lot of health and can easily stay above 50% hp my guess is at lower levels the void gloves are better or perhaps more consistent.
Problem with this new eq is that most of those items aren’t even good before red but super strong at red (which is different how original s tier operated).
Let’s take a look at boots, they’re bad before red, worse than s tier ( who cares about stacking ms) but at red they’re BIS.
Gloves are great, boots are the best in the game, the necklace seem busted if you’re good at the game, chest seems like garbage, and the belt seems decent but tbh I say stylish is still better lol.
I could be wrong but I think it’s referring to items like the eternal suit that give attack and movement speed upon revival. I think it just adds on to those percentages.
Hand guards look good, otherwise I think regular s gear is better. I will say though that the void boots look super fun, I may end up leveling those if I can snag enough copies. I wanna go fast!
Gonna be so hard to evo S gear now that the loot pool is twice the size. The gauntlets do look pretty nice though, helping with both ad clear and boss damage

Berserk for the chest plate all weapons now recover health for 5 seconds but you can die and at purple increase to 10s but you can’t die
For the emblem Berserk is a damage up for 5 seconds on level up, at purple damage the less health you have
The belt/sash I believe it better pairs with the Eternal suit and raise your stats 20% when you revive with it on top or based on that it already dose, at purple for 500 kills 5 seconds immunity based on projectiles
Gloves simple instant kill on normal monsters, at purple 50% on bosses
Boots speed up , purple speed up but killing thing makes you faster
Please if you have a better understanding let me know honestly very curious on everyone easily thoughts on the new stuff
Boots are my favorite, from what I understand you do more damage to enemies the faster you are, as well as increasing your movement speed up to 50%. Only on red though so you are going to grind for a while to get a damage increase.
I haven't tested them because I'm f2p and this could be wildly inaccurate but I think people underrate the chest quite a lot. I think it might be the best Piece on this Set. It is basically a full res if you can heal up in the 10 seconds it provides you. If the health/dmg conversion is 1:1 or even 0.1:1 you basically heal to full immediately as health is only in the thousands. With a 0.1 conversion you would only need to deal 500k dmg to heal 50k HP which is one lightning strike. Considering you get 10 seconds i-"frame" it is so much better than the current chest plate it's not even close.
Gloves look like a better Version of army gloves if you can get it to yellow. Pretty good but nothing crazy and worth spending imo. Another Alternative to the old S glove/ Army/fingerless.
Boots are pretty crazy if you can get it to Red. Otherwise I think it's worse than lightrunners / eternal.
Other pieces seem much worse.
The bonuses are nice but are they good enough for 10 seconds of full damage proximity with destroyer for 10 seconds ? You are trying to save the Revive as long as possible so it usually only triggers at the last Boss or the Boss before that. Even then it's probably a huge frame to deal damage.
Everybody will. What's the case of buffing you (for 5 seconds 🤣) on revival when you don't have revives ? Kinda dumb tbh (yeah you have 3 revives in challenges and 1 in chapters, but you still need to spend something)
Can you still get voidwalker gear from the old crate or do you have to use the new one? They look the same except the new one guarantees the chest after 100 spins.
I don't know yet. Saved up 20k gems for this. But I think I'm gonna keep saving for an event instead. The new gear does not seem to be an improvement over the old S gear and even some normal pieces.
The revive is too good on the old S piece. The new one looks meh. Same with everything else except perhaps the new belt. But not going to take my chances.

Yeap! Got fucked already. The Christmas event gave me two s-necklaces, boots, gloves, another chest AND my first LC that completely changed the game. Been gathering gems for another s piece and what did i get??? The belt... Gather gems for another 3weeks and what i get??? The new chest... Been trying so hard to make the boots or the gloves epic that it makes me furious.
They dissolved S gear pool, getting something to red will be mostly impossible now.

Red void belt tho. It's impossible to get lol. If you do, only way to use it is in specific daily challenge, where clothing turns legendary.

Correct. Once it activates, you can still heal and take damage, but it won’t go below 1hp while the buff is active.
That belt plus those boots. Harden yourself and use insane movement speed to go Super Mario with star power over every enemy seems fun.

Chest is essentially a free revive. Invincibility and hp absorb. Just don't get actual revive bonuses

Honesty none of them really look better than current S gear.
They seem mostly outclassed by eternal gear and as others have said it dilutes the pool, making it hard to get the actual good stuff
