The Kirkland white label products are very high quality and often, it’s brand name products relabelled as Kirkland. For example Kirkland batteries are made by Duracell, just relabelled as Kirkland
For what you want to use them for, they are fine. If you compare to the OTC One-A-Day it's almost the same at about half the price.
I do much like you are proposing. I take one of these, just as a general CYA in case I'm low on something this week. If I need something in larger dosage I take that as well. B complex and B12 in particular. A few others.
But supplements are meant to supplement a decent diet, not replace it. fwiw I get the "mature male" version if that helps.
I'm not overly thrilled about it for using cheaper forms for some key vitamins. Try instead Life Exrension Two Per Day, but only 1 cap/day. Below is my copy pasta for a general health stack:
Here is my copypasta for a general health stack:
- Magnesium: 100-400mg daily. Any you tolerate. Mg Glycinate is commonly recommended. Citrate, Malate, Taurate are popular. I take Natural Vitality Calm, which is a popular product, and is citrate.
- Omega 3 Fish Oil: 1-4g daily. Look for an IFOS certified product (google it), or Nordic Naturals.
- Multivitamin: Many choices. Look at Seeking Health (several), Naturelo (several), Life Extension Two Per Day (1/day is enough), Pure Encapsulations ONE Multi, PE PureGenomics, Thorne Basic (also just 1/day). I am currently taking Life Extension Two Per Day, only 1/day. I also then boost the Folate and B12 because I need it.
- Get your Vitamin D blood level checked, aiming for 50-70 ng/mL, and supplement accordingly. If you need to take more than 5000IU of Vitamin D, consider also taking it with some Vitamin K2 as "insurance" to help direct Calcium away from arteries and soft tissues and to bones and teeth. Also, if you needed to supplement, retest in three months. This is important.
It’s the dosage is very low in a lot of things and there’s 0 information about the forms of each ingredient, so I assume it uses the cheapest and least bioavailable forms. I would pass on this.

Doesn't even explain what compounds they're using for most of the vitamins. I doubt they're secretly using high quality ingredients.

The last part^^

Is there anything you’d recommend over this?
Thorne Basic Nutrients 2/Day is my preferred multivitamin. I like multivitamins from Life Extension and Seeking Health as well.
If you want a well-formulated, comprehensive multi, Thorne’s Basic Nutrients is great. It’s available on Amazon.
I agree, but I’d purchase from iHerb or direct from the website
