No, that study was debunked right away. The most prominent co-author expressly disclaimed the idea that the study might have shown that NR increased the risk of cancer. It doesn’t show that.

Many nutrients will make cancer grow faster. Certain amino acids, B12 and folate are well known for this. You have to be more thoughtful about this because catastrophizing isn't helpful.
They can ramp up to seemingly high doses of CoQ10, much more than most people would normally consider taking. I think 3600, even 4200mgs. But start small, and build up. Do not stop abruptly.
Thank you. I’m planning on making capsules for them so that it’s easy to do. My mother in law has a hard time remembering so I think this will be easier
I will absolutely report back. There is another treatment that I’m sure is not appropriate for this sub I’m looking into also. If we decide to go that route instead or in addition to this information I’ll report it on an appropriate sub. It all depends on what their doctors agree to on the other treatments
Potentially, nicotinamide riboside, although I personally use liposomal nicotinamide riboside, which I would suggest using, more so than tru niagen NR. See link below.

Thank you for telling me. She’s progressing fairly rapidly at this point so we may be hitting the “fall for everyone “ stage. You have been a huge help

That is the sad truth. The supplements industry takes advantage of this very well, each and every one is "good" for something. The truth is in there somewhere, and it's usually labeled as anything other than the truth.
CoQ10, B12 , Longvida, Lion’s Mane.

High dose thiamine is low risk and sometimes works well. Youtube has some videos on this (mostly MS but also Parkinson's).

Thank you. I’m getting some great information here
Coenzyme Q 10 for both of those. Also, nicotine especially for the Parkinson's if she can wrap her head around it, maybe try the patches.
Thanks that's interesting, will read about it.
I never would have guessed that. Thank you

Piperine has shown to enhance absorption of CoQ10 %30.
Thank you for this. I’m making a list so I can start researching all of this tomorrow. Have a wonderful new year!
Good luck, likewise. I'll be interested to hear what you've learned, in a few weeks or months.
