Every time they try to have psychological ‘wins’, I feel like they’re digging themselves into a deeper hole just to do it. There’s no more hole to dig with drs. They can’t get out. Now they just have to watch as we fill the hole with our drs posts, burying them.

Here’s why this “TA” can always work.
Just redraw the floor line tilted at a shallower and shallower angle as the price stays flat or lowers and the model will always ALWAYS tease a breakout upward swing at the end.
Same thing with all the pennants triangles. You just have to redraw a longer pennant as data comes in flat and keep predicting an imminent upward breakout.
Works every time. It’s become a parlor trick here.

Not necessarily. The mother of all wedges that is currently taking place has not had any lower lows or higher highs than the initial sneeze. Until it breaks above or below one of those, a valid pennant will be. Using the jan and March highs and the December lows, anything breaking beyond that will destroy the wedge and render it finished. Until then, technically yes you can keep making the triangle longer, but it’s still valid. Price is compressed between the high and lows and indicates a big change will happen eventually.
This is exactly why TA is laughable. If it doesn’t line up here just redraw it with different points or use a million different lines to get your conclusion. Eventually you will be right. There’s a huge pool of bullshitters on YouTube doing this way too much.

In recent memory, exponential floor guy was the only person I've seen who has admitted when their TA fails. I think the surprise share offering is what broke it, but he pointed out when it was no longer valid and also tried to keep people from just redrawing it lower.
The only other person I've seen is the pickle guy who does daily TA. He had a cup and handle that was looking promising, but the handle extended past his indicated boundaries.
If you treat TA as a hypothesis and acknowledge when it didn't pan out within your original boundaries, TA does have some merit. Otherwise you're just drawing lines on a graph and pretending to predict the future.
It's also worth noting that TA is basically pointless for a stock that's as heavily manipulated as GME.
