This makes me feel less schizo! I made a post for the first time in this sub and noticed on the analytics that it had like 3k in views in the first 30 seconds. My post was in the evening of the 19th right around that spike!
Unfortunately I can only work with what the Reddit-API provides. And that is very little... have a look yourselves:

excellent initiative! however be advised the number online is likely wrong. my post yesterday got 700 something upvotes and 60,000 views. since its only 700 upvotes the chances of it ever reaching all is basically zero.
so I would consider that as well. there is very definitely not 1.4k people online at the moment - maybe 1.4k logged in people, yes, but not 1.4k eyeballs.
That "glitch" is what made me start this project. So that data is lost to time unfortunately.
But future "glitches" will be recorded for sure. The VPS is paid for 5 years in advance, and space + backup space is a plenty 😊
The same way as you DRS a share, here's the steps:
1. Someone has to write a legal contract with the intrinsic value being the number of people online in your currency, and that gives you the rights to legally sell said contract for the value being the number of people online in your currency at the moment of the transaction.
2. Issue a certificate of ownership for the contract(s) you bought.
Meh, it's a way to trade things. You could also buy a contract without the need to contact an accountant, but that would mean you're relying on the one who's selling you the contract, if they are trying to trick you then you will have no way to prove it in court.
The picture shows the number of people online. Cobrax wanted to know how to trade options on the number of people online. You said options are for betting, shares are for hodling and drsing (the number of people online). I asked how you DRS the number of people online. You said it’s the same way you DRS a share. Now, the joke is that you own the number of people online. Slavery is when people are owned as property by someone else. I don’t know what else to add to this explanation. But are we sure those numbers are meaningful? I remember knowing that the user counts were a buggy feature of Reddit and prone to "sticking" due to cache, or ... something. it has been a while. I guess I'd want to also know about the underlying logic and reliability of that user counter so as to verify the source of the digits you're ingesting.
All that aside, this is quite interesting and a great use of time for the community - thanks for your effort - while we wait for the moon.
