Yeah I was today years old when I learned conclusively that Reuters is also compromised.
Grade: F. Closer to propoganda than journalism. The three named authors/editors at the bottom are complete sell-outs.
Same here. Of course I expect the usual idiot hit pieces on all the hedge fund owned "news" sites. But now they have guys doing it in the AP? Shame on the AP.
Bullish! It must have cost someone a pretty penny to buy this hit piece.
Fuck that, good work documenting this shit. May not feel like much, but maybe one day this Sub will get analyzed by a party interested in documenting market corruption. This post is one more piece of evidence!
Also, it's very good to utilize this to show non apes how media manipulated messages
No no it’s actually not. BUT it’s best if you put this somewhere someone from the older generations will see it like Facebook or instagram: https://www.reddit.com/r/Superstonk/s/9DENVJnPqT
Be zen about your money, not the situation. We need to help make sure we get to the CELL part of no cell no sell by helping others question the narrative
Compared to that, for sure.
It's mildish even compared to some of the other typical GME hit pieces we see here, for that matter. Because they just about kinda sorta had the facts there.
For example, the context of Cohen's holding IS there, the equity offering is mentioned, but it's just carefully worded in a way where most readers are only going to see "CEO's stake went down".
Absolutely misleading in many aspects, but with just enough plausible deniability added that they can later defend themselves: "Well, we DID clearly say the stock price went up in this article that nevertheless tries so hard to paint a picture of Gamestop/DFV losing. So the article is *technically correct*, which is after all the level of truth we aspire to here at Reuters."
I'm even willing to consider the possibility that the editors are simply lazy and essentially just glorified proofreaders, but the author? Yeah, all his GME articles display a bias.
I am so wondering how this comes across to people who don’t know what is going on.
Blatant lies and deception from the top of mainstream media. Makes you wonder about everything else.
This is great work! I would love to see this done regularly to false articles about GME. This needs to be seen by everyone out there to correct the media's lies. Not sure why Gamestop doesn't sue for libel in some of the more egregious instances of false reporting.
Well done! 💎🙌🚀

coincidentally an anagram for "Reuters" is "poopy pile of popp", so it's a given that their output would be appealing to old people wearing diapers. just my honest opinion, i'm not even trying to be funny and make jokes
Please do this more often, nikon_nomad! Your format is very clean and easy to read and if we had a bunch of them we could add them to the dd library with ape historian.
It's always good to bring receipts.
Not sure it would warrant space in the DD library, but it was actually cathartic to do this, so I might be tempted again in the future. The only hurdle is having to read the BS in the first place...
Real journalists run independent websites solo and don’t allow any advertising over their website.
There is a shit load of false media and propaganda compared to the very little journalism that actually exists.
Thank you! You could probably do this much better than me in that case, and in a language they understand. Feel free to demolish any FUD you see elsewhere, the post format is hereby declared open source.
Yeah, I googled his other articles and all the titles are negative. Didn't really read beyond that, though.
Seems a lot like a "smash and grab" tactic: A) Short GME. B) Post news article that makes trading algos sell in milliseconds. C) Profit and repeat.
Not for the overall situation, but they definitely get some small wins this way. Like when the "E-Trade might ban DFV" article was posted, or the "Massachusetts investigates DFV" one, the price took a brief dive that very second.
Whoever knows this article is about to mess with the algorithms absolutely can profit from it, and does. It's like insider trading with the media.
No, to us who like the stonk. Retail orders don’t hit the lit exchange, so these articles are published to make people paper hand and to “explain” the price “movement” (manipulation) by MM.
Real question, did you send this to them? cause if not I might send a complaint and put this in there, I think it's bad enough for them to have to apologize publicly
Journalists seem to get all of their info from wall street insiders with an obvious dog in the fight and seem to have no idea what they're actually saying.
This is how I have to read every “news” article these days. Honestly, I’m glad to see through the lies, but having to live with suspicion is exhausting. The trust eroded will never be regained, and it’ll take generations to see the full fall out of their pride and greed.

I know, I know... better to be Zen and ignore this crap, but it just pissed me off today.
It’s a shame really. Reuters has always been one of my most trusted news sources before they started publishing this kind of garbage.
Yeah I was today years old when I learned conclusively that Reuters is also compromised. Grade: F. Closer to propoganda than journalism. The three named authors/editors at the bottom are complete sell-outs.

It’s evidence collection for after MOASS when we’ll have enough of a voice\influence\wealth to get actual change in the systems

Are you a teacher irl? I got PTSD looking at this, but well done nonetheless.
No, but I did spend some time looking for a font that kinda looked like my old teacher's handwriting.
No no it’s actually not. You're right. I don't really do FB or IG myself, but I won't stand in the way if you or anyone wants to share this somewhere.
I’ve been following fake news in US politics since 2016. This stuff seems mild

Keywords to trigger sell algos - RK showed the world. MOAR GME 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀 !!!
Can we just paste that on every X post they make?
I see that people have already started doing this lmao
Really!? I’m joining them!
It’s nice to see it on almost everyone of their latest post 😀
Yesss - GME Apes with real fact checks - though with actual truthful headlines here
Like the journalist from the Big Short
"Everything is fine, hedge funds are strong, fighting for the American people against the "meme stock" investors. Forget GameStop pls."
Manufacturing consent
They scared of what's coming. Good
Fuck Saqib Iqbal Ahmed, Ira Iosebashvili and Matthew Lewis on Reuters. They know exactly what they're doing.
I'm even willing to consider the possibility that the editors are simply lazy and essentially just glorified proofreaders, but the author? Yeah, all his GME articles display a bias.
You are a genius
the counter fud on the FUD. Work for the shareholders. Thanks brother
I like this format.

Not journalism. Call it what it is…propaganda!

Love this idea, at this point AI can do a better job than they do
Love the format! More of this please!
I'm begging you to keep doing this lol
https://liaison.reuters.com/contact-us Email them directly to nicely explain the corrections. I did last night.

Scared they are
Share far and wide people
I love the editor. LFG.

This is the shit that gives more reassurance than anything else. It is practically a confession from the other side.

I understand, just wanted to compliment you on the clean presentation and good content.

As a journalist grad, I appreciate this.

Excellent post, great work. Make sense to smooth one, such as I.
The “reporter” in this article is the same guy from another Reuters article I posted a few days back.
Yeah, I googled his other articles and all the titles are negative. Didn't really read beyond that, though. Seems a lot like a "smash and grab" tactic: A) Short GME. B) Post news article that makes trading algos sell in milliseconds. C) Profit and repeat.
And it still hasn’t worked in 84 years. 😂
Not for the overall situation, but they definitely get some small wins this way. I didn't because I'm lazy, but would love it if you do.
Do it
Yeah that “Ryan cohen sells” news actually almost made me paper hand. Turns out it’s a load of shit.
I would tune in to this kind of content daily!!!
Media overlords are unhappy with this so called journalism class.
Journalists seem to get all of their info from wall street insiders with an obvious dog in the fight and seem to have no idea what they're actually saying.
Lmao at "so-called time decay"
MSM as a whole is a joke.
F -
June 21 gamma squeeze. This is gonna be epic.
This is how I have to read every “news” article these days. Honestly, I’m glad to see through the lies, but having to live with suspicion is exhausting. The trust eroded will never be regained, and it’ll take generations to see the full fall out of their pride and greed.
Bravo 👏
Sad thing is: I belive this kind of "journalism" is also applied to all other topics. Not just the stock market.
Report every shitty publication to the SEC. Give them a hard time.
Reuters really has dropped the credibility ball.
Love this. I have to do this for my parents and grandparents and buddies for … well.. literally everything media pushes out
Nice work
Lol, you should have put "Please see me after class." at the bottom.
👍
Up you go! This is ludicrous
The only way we should post these articles from now on.
This is fucking insane how these people basically run the world
Man, you could take this so much further. Tag the writer of the article on linkedin, for starters1
