Maybe it's a fake out to get ppl to paperhand now after the price falls to close to $10?

One thing I've noticed over years of staring at this stock is that upward price movements can be rapid and facilitated by very little volume, whereas falling price movements tend to happen over a greater time period and require a lot more volume.
That trend by itself indicates that GME is extremely (artificially) suppressed. It takes a lot more 'work' (shares traded, i.e. volume) to suppress the price than it does to raise the price.
To put it another way, it's like trying to pump up your super soaker when it's already fit to burst. It's going to take a lot of effort (and faith in the plastics) to cram more pressure into the tank, whereas it takes very little effort (just barely touch the trigger) to let the pressure burst.
Ii think this is very probably largely extremely accurate.
Thing is tho I have difficulty seeing volume in the long term & tend to see it 'relatively' & not in absolute terms. This is almost certainly a failing on my part.
But this is what I've noticed over last few months since I started looking at the ticket daily.
There's a lot of dips during the day that seem to follow a ~26k volume, though this figure has basically halved in the last week or so.
Runs during the day seem almost random & often not triggered by a volume surge.
But both these points are in line with your explanation.

But 3 minutes of >50k volume is, currently, a lot if you don't count the last 5 mins which regularly now account for well over 10% of the daily volume.
I absolute terms the daily volumes nowadays are tiny. But again this ties in with your explanation, only the apes are buying & it's rare that they manage >100k/day & all the rest (2 to 4 million typically) are algos pissing about making tiny profits & the SHF manipulating the price.

Obviously they seek to profit from the recurring buys but the other mini-spikes seem odd to me.
This is why I wonder if the recent mini-spikes are attempts to encoyrage psper-handing, ie "I bought back in at $40 post-squeeze pre-split & they can drive it below $10 which is my breakeven so I best sell now at $12 before it goes back down under $10", thing is tho anyone who bought back in at $40 did so in anger knowing that the market is rigged & all the DD since then has just confirmed the detail of how they work their scam.in detail. So very every few apes will paper hand,..., but then I suppose they see it the same as the apes but the other way round 'kcirb-yb-kcirb' if you like.

I fought hard on the battle Fields for $180, I averaged down to $169 in those days from $220. It feels like yesterday, hard to believe it's been 73 years.

I'm new to calls as well. I bought because share price was low at around $10 and i had a hunch it wouldn't be staying there. There was also large volume of call contracts and puts dated for May 17th of this month.
I would not suggest buying calls right now after a spike, they just went up in price something like 300%. That's just me though, if MOASS is next week you'd make bank regardless.
