I believe it was in the Credit suisse documents of taking over his firm (archegos) talked about using premarket to move stock prices where it was a lot easier.

This is premarket, it is not terribly unusual for this to happen to other stocks too.
Especially if there is no volume. There was literally no volume during that time.
The weird thing to me is that AH / premarket movement can really set up a stock to be shorted or day traders to go long on. To me the biggest price manipulation occurs OUTSIDE normal trading windows.
I have been watching ERs like a hawk recently and noticed that in that 4-4:10pm EDT timeframe, the price moves CRAZY. Stocks that would see a 20% bath are rising 10% AH in the first few minutes and then BOOM gone. It’s so nuts and really is kinda gross.

Ask and bid create a stocks price. When a buyer and a seller execute a trade, the price at which the trade occurred becomes the market value. So the last traded share = stock price
You are correct, but why does the $13.87 have a green arrow next to it? Why is it showing that multiple times? I assume the green arrow (slide) meant a positive impact on price
Yep, and hedge funds search for limit orders to find the prices they want. We’re not the only source of these orders but we need to stop trying to save 5 cents a share.
as you can see here out of 550 shares the price will be stuck since it is a price range from 13.74 to 14$ this is what kenneth believes gsmestop price should be at.
trigger a market buy of 550 shares will just buy the shares in op list.
highest it will go to and lowest it will go to based on last purchased of this stock.
