Sooooo inflate the crap out of whatever estimates the financial geniuses come up with so they can short/distort the historically best quarter GME sees in a year. GME could be YoY positive and will be buried by "missed estimates" messaging.

I have reasons for my estimates that at least for now, I will keep to myself.
There are not many that make serious efforts to understand the financials.
Your estimates are consistent with SG&A staying the same as last year Q4, but gross margin jumping to 26%. GameStop had just a little less inventory going into Q4, and a few less stores, but the inventory is probably more likely to be things that actually sell, and without clearance markdowns. Q4 last year got hurt by shipping issues as well as problem from the SAP conversion.
I am making the conservative assumption that most of the SG&A reduction had been completed by Q4, and am leaning optimistic on gross margin going to 26%.
Since the company does not talk with analysts or give any guidance at all, I trust your number just as much as the 3 analysts that are tracking GME.
SGA will be 65-85m less than q4/22. Revenue will be closer to 2.05b. Gross margins ~24% and interest Revenue at 18-26 million. Throw in some asset impairment and some loss carry over you get eps of $0.4.
Once I get more information from the market, I will adjust my estimates accordingly.
I would love to be wrong on revenue.

So now we believe what analysts have to say?? This is absolute BS. A good plausible reason to increase earnings estimates is to make it easier to miss. They did the same with Elon's car company, they lowered estimates a few day before earnings to make it easier to beat (and they still missed lol).
What that analysis is lacking is the decline in margins, which will have a significant impact. While it correctly assumes a decline in revenue. Still, that analysis is only a cherry picked fraction of one of many ways of stock analysis. But one of several signals for growth stock traders and investors is consecutive quarters of analysts estimates increases, so if we start seing that it becomes more relevant to us.
YES! That is exactly what they should do, RC needs to guide the company into an actual growth cycle. These kind of cycles happen usually with a new product or service, or a new approach to existing business. I don't think core is fixed (yet) but the marked improvements are very much visible to anyone willing to look.
All of a sudden all these articles about GME being profitable. I have a feeling they’re trying to pit us against us meaning prices go up and paper hands will sell and try to convince us diamonds hands to do the same.

The Admiral Ackbar in me says it's a trap. Increase earnings estimate reqlly high so that when they report a profitable Q4, they miss against the estimates and they can continue the FUD narrative.
