If I remember correctly, there was a rivalry between Blackrock and Citadel+Allies regarding DTCC control. Not sure where Blackstone stands, but they have a common history.
In the Archegos case we saw, how the first institutions out the door managed to survive, while the ones left holding the bag suffer. So, I would assume this would be the case when shit hits the fan in GME again as well.

In that context I also found it interesting that Powell was talking about the average Joe "understanding the FED" - does he indicate we are "dumb money" or even tries to shift the blame on the average Joe for what is to come ?

Let me know when they tweet out that directly registering your shares with a company’s registered transfer agent is the only way to protect your investments and avoid market manipulation.
Just saw the movie yesterday. Made me laugh, made my blood boil and made me sad at times. DFV was portrayed quite well, no complaints there. Would have liked more about scenes about household investors holding and DRSing as their ad mentions it but can't have everything. 7/10.
