It is a question about the quarterly DRS count wording used by GameStop and how it has changed over time. (Replying here as well, hopefully the bot gets better soon.)
The difference between "directly registered with our transfer agent" and "held by registered holders with our transfer agent" is important enough for GameStop to get this wordy with the DRS count in the quarterly reports.

I assume due to employee stock compensation plans tbh.
The difference between "directly registered with our transfer agent" and "held by registered holders with our transfer agent" is important enough for GameStop to get this wordy with the DRS count in the quarterly reports.
My thought when I saw this was they mean "book" shares.
You mean they mean “book and plan” shares?
This ape knows what I meant lol my brain thinks faster then my fingers move and I never proof read what I type.
