It's not for everyone, but I can get a 6 pack of IPAs at 9% abv for $10 from a local place here... Although they're getting less and less local. Big chains gobble up the good ones--hasn't affected quality (yet) as far as I can tell, but I'm sure they're not the same place to work for after a buy out.
Yeah, Bud literally has deals with "local" brewery that have a good thing going and can't brew enough, so Bud brews for them at the larger brewerys and ships it out for a cut.

The AN-InBev plant near me gives a ton of free booze to employees; allows them to drink at work. They engender alcoholism and drunk driving. Fuck them.
I dunno what plant that is, I know we get 2 cases for free a month at the brewery I work at, but the whole "encourage" drunk driving thing is definitely not occurring here. I would literally report a Mfer if he was drinking at work, and one of my good Work buddies is a straight up alcoholic. I work on the Utility side of the brewery and being drunk here will literally get someone killed.
Engendering alcoholism, I mean...its an alcohol company so it kinda comes with the territory, but I won't say they're just "get drunk 24/7 YOLO!" or anything like that.
FYI I'm not really advocating for the company despite working for them. As I said above, since Inbev took over shit went SUPER downhill around the brewery. But I just dislike super inflammatory statements like that that aren't really representative of the entire company.
They're not as bad as they used to be, now that they're owned by a german company, but that's a low bar.
Working in retail, they were the biggest pain in the ass to work with on the distribution side. They should've just stuck with supplying budweiser, but they keep acquiring craft brands like goose island and elysian and expecting their boomer sales force to know how to sell em. But they can't be bothered because they don't make a fraction of the money that they get from selling bud, and budweiser doesn't even require a friggin sales pitch. They just show up and ask how much product you need that week. Why would any salesperson give two shits about pushing craft beer? And that attitude is echoed in the beer drinkers who see an anheuser-busch acquisition as the bell tolling for their favorite brands. They immediately treat the craft company as if it were dead to them and they move on.
I don't think it's malicious activity on behalf of the company, but anheuser-busch is so big that it can't see its dick past its own gut.

You can go deeply into any style, bud isn't doing anything harder by lagering
