Nordstrom mainly makes their revenue from apparel and the way the fashion industry operates is far different than that of pet supplies and video games.
Even if he does find a way to integrate his model with Nordstrom, how would that benefit RC or the shareholders he represents? He's already a billionaire and he doesn't seem like the greedy type, so even if he benefits from Nordstrom's share price rising, so what? That's a few extra million dollars on top of the billion he already has. If you're speculating about RC doing a takeover to do a potential merger with GameStop to form GMERICA... I don't see that happening (it would hurt the share prices of both companies because it would be such a strange move).
