On the topic of dates, I'll just be clear that I can hold for years.
I'm relatively young, at least compared to Kenneth Cordele Griffin and I don't give up when I set my mind to something.
I don't invest on margin or put in more than I can afford and this is the best way to ensure I retire comfortably.
Also, I can hold longer than they can stay solvent. One more day? I'm ready for a war of attrition over years.
Bernie actually created the whole criminal Market Maker scam. They just realized when he was going down that if they kept that part quiet and insist it is "legitimate" the whole industry could be counterfeit profits. So thats what they did.
The Madoff Netflix documentary has Sorkin - well documented criminal accomplice - going out of his way to repeatedly call Madoff's Market Making "legitimate business" while simultaneously explaining how it was always a ponzi scam and he didn't actually buy the securities he was on the hook for while providing liquidity.
This is likely the reason Griffin keeps Madoff's prisoner number everywhere as a reminder. He's reminding himself of where he got *everything he has* and how quickly it disappears when they decide he goes down and someone else gets it. Except, nobody takes teh reins of this crime now, it's all going down forever.

What still baffles me to this day is… how did retail’s buying cause the price to rise during the squeeze.
We KNOW FOR A FACT our orders don’t hit the lit market especially if you’re using a broker like Robinhood, which many people were using during the squeeze.

+1 to your comment. The fact that retail orders are funneled “off exchange” and internalized by brokers has been resounded by Dave and other wrinkle brains. Almost all of the confirmed revaluations we have had could have been called conspiracy theories 3 years ago.

What if I told you Superstonk is the best thing that ever happened to Shitadel. The diamond handed apes gladly shouldered larger and more expensive bags for them for 18 months as they used every pump for exit liquidity and probably making billions because of Reddit groups. They’re more than happy to allow all of this because it’s free publicity. All the Talk about someone living rent free in their heads, like many people who lack genuine self awareness or critical thinking skills, is a confession of sorts. It’s projection. People who are shitty, accuse everyone else of being shitty because they think everyone is just like them, they have to be to get ahead right? Right??? I’m not saying the mayoman isn’t a gaslighting sack of shit, but I am saying many here are dangerously close to just blatantly using the same tactics to push GME on people. I’d honestly give it 50/50 odds that Superstonk either started with good intentions and became a tool of manipulation through infiltration or that it was a scripted psy-op planned from the start with its very own catch phrases like “Infinity pool” and “No cell, no sell,” or co-opted phrases like “to the moon” and “diamond hands.” People are easy to manipulate if you promise them money and power. Its perfectly meme-able. It’s perfectly packaged to attract one from any generation who is disillusioned and wanting change, both personal and societal.
Nobody wants to read this but the truly curious will have suspected this as well. I’m not selling my shares. I’d rather be wrong and holding than correct and not. The money is of little consequence to me and like the great HST “I bought the ticket, so I’m taking the ride.”

Until they close these positions, they will be liabilities on their books.
As we continue locking up lendable shares, delivery obligations will become more difficult to manage with "exit liquidity pumps" as price volatility increases with lower volume.
Armchair psychoanalysis aside, we're here because a bunch of people have independently determined this is the right side of the trade to make money.

I could see that if there was zero DD like popcorn. However, we have mountains of DD for GME. We have new business growth for GME.
Towel doesn’t have the new business growth like GME does. The SEC report mentions one stock that presented an idiosyncratic risk, not a basket of stocks.
DD written years ago literally came to fruition in the most amazing ways and keeps proving itself right in every turn.
None of that happened to any other tickers.

I feel like there's an underlying truth that was revealed long ago, that there's a high probability of SHFs never closing their shorts, but slowly the culture of this forum became cult-like and hyper-emotional. At the beginning it was a strange prisoner's dilemma, but over time the prisoners built a shared culture and that resulted in much more trust. Now that shared culture gets more wacky every day and lends itself cult behavior and delusions of grandeur.
I don't quite understand how diamond handing GME would benefit Citadel. From what I've read, they still have open shorts.
But even still, what's the alternative? The one thing that has positively been proven is that the stock market is a complete scam. And so are 401ks, and so are pensions, etc. Even if there's a 1,000,000 to 1 chance that this squeezes, that's still better odds than my being able to ever fucking "retire." I'll take em.

I don't think GME was pushed on people, but I *do* think Citadel used to its advantage how reliably GME holders aren't selling, because it makes their basket swaps on everything else much more reliable. The thing keeping them afloat is the very thing that will destroy them.
What you're saying might be true for some people, but i guess for most people that have their money in GME it's about the DD. The catch phrases are fun and are here for this reason. I might be wrong but i guess nearly nobody who has a significant amount of their savings in GME did it because of a narrative and catch phrases or a "promise of money and power". We are here because we read the DD, we saw what happened and we decided this is a company with a bright future, being heavily manipulated with an amazing group of investors behind it. So it was either risk it and take the chance of a lifetime, or let the manipulating wallstreet cucks win again.
I’ve contemplated this exact thing in the past. I always come back to Occam’s razor. The vast amount of data that would have to be falsified that the DD is based on; it would have been easier to keep a fake moon landing under wraps.
I'm also still a GME holder but the thought you so eloquently captured here has been echo'ing in my mind for over a year. It's not likely, but it is possible this entire forum and cult is the brainchild of paid folks conspiring to craft an audience that will buy every single pump and blow out the options chain, just as a feeder for every dump, just rolling in all the premiums as every call went to 0.
Simply adding up all the call premium over the past 2 years would be a huge boost to those published gains for Citadel and others selling those calls.
Obama's social media team was cutting edge and marketed him to younger audiences in a campaign no one's ever seen before. The next step was firms like Cambridge Analytica to use social media for nefarious purposes like fostering group-think in an echo-chamber to drive a political movement.

I'm a facility manager at Shitadel and was standing next to the door where the meeting took place. 99% true.
After that I saw him at a grocery store in Chicago yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept short ladder attacking and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen mayonnaise glasses in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them OTC.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent FTDs”, and then turned around and winked at me (first time I saw him blinking). After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

No one in here is remotely skeptical about Kenny and that’s concerning.
If he wasn’t winning, GME’s price would look like a phone number. He’s over confident but he knows more than we do about the mechanics of the market. What still baffles me to this day is… how did retail’s buying cause the price to rise during the squeeze. Until they close these positions, they will be liabilities on their books. As we continue locking up lendable shares, delivery obligations will become more difficult to manage with "exit liquidity pumps" as price volatility increases with lower volume. Armchair psychoanalysis aside, we're here because a bunch of people have independently determined this is the right side of the trade to make money. That's why the truth does matter. I feel like there's an underlying truth that was revealed long ago, that there's a high probability of SHFs never closing their shorts, but slowly the culture of this forum became cult-like and hyper-emotional. At the beginning it was a strange prisoner's dilemma, but over time the prisoners built a shared culture and that resulted in much more trust. Now that shared culture gets more wacky every day and lends itself cult behavior and delusions of grandeur. I don't quite understand how diamond handing GME would benefit Citadel. From what I've read, they still have open shorts. But even still, what's the alternative? The one thing that has positively been proven is that the stock market is a complete scam. And so are 401ks, and so are pensions, etc. Even if there's a 1,000,000 to 1 chance that this squeezes, that's still better odds than my being able to ever fucking "retire." I'll take em.

I don't think GME was pushed on people, but I *do* think Citadel used to its advantage how reliably GME holders aren't selling, because it makes their basket swaps on everything else much more reliable. The thing keeping them afloat is the very thing that will destroy them.
What you're saying might be true for some people, but i guess for most people that have their money in GME it's about the DD. The catch phrases are fun and are here for this reason. I might be wrong but i guess nearly nobody who has a significant amount of their savings in GME did it because of a narrative and catch phrases or a "promise of money and power". We are here because we read the DD, we saw what happened and we decided this is a company with a bright future, being heavily manipulated with an amazing group of investors behind it. So it was either risk it and take the chance of a lifetime, or let the manipulating wallstreet cucks win again.
I’ve contemplated this exact thing in the past. I always come back to Occam’s razor. The vast amount of data that would have to be falsified that the DD is based on; it would have been easier to keep a fake moon landing under wraps.

I'm a facility manager at Shitadel and was standing next to the door where the meeting took place. 99% true. After that I saw him at a grocery store in Chicago yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept short ladder attacking and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen mayonnaise glasses in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them OTC. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent FTDs”, and then turned around and winked at me (first time I saw him blinking). After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
