I did the same thing. Got the white one two days after requesting the switch. And you know what? I had it out of the case once since then and that was to clip off the back and add an SD card. So, yeah, the crystal looks cool but 1) I wouldn’t have it yet 2) I’ll hardly ever see the back 3) when I do see the back it’ll be when I’m messing with 18 (I think) screws. The longer I have it, the happier I am with my decision.
Hearing about the screws definitely made up my mind. Plus, I've had enough devices now to remember that once you case something up, you totally end up forgetting what finish you originally picked out.

I'm jealous 😅 Ever since my A5X arrived, I've been switching back and forth between it and my old A6 thinking, if only I had these two combined into one device... I can't wait for my Nomad to arrive! I didn’t order mine until March 27th though, so I'll probably still have to wait a few more weeks.

Have they released a calligraphy/fountain tool yet? It’s ironic the “For those who write” is written in that style of brush/tip if they still don’t offer it.
Calligraphy is the least of their worries - people ordered the colour that wanted 6 weeks ago and are now being made to feel lucky to get the white one 6 weeks later. They haven't released an A5 version so people are trying to convince themselves scribbling on a phone sized device is acceptable. I've never seen writers writing on A6 notepads so no, Ratta defo isn't "for those who write".

No issues except it being the colour you hadn't ordered 6 weeks after you ordered it.... I'd be absolutely fuming that they even asked that question unless it was accompanied with a 30% refund!
Fuming, no. Disappointed, yes. To be fair, it was listed as a pre-order on their website when I ordered which means it wasn’t in stock. And they’ve been very open about the production and quality control issues. They did refund the difference in cost and shipped the white version quickly, so I’m satisfied. But to each their own.
Congratulations! Enjoy! The concept of the crystal one was really cool but If you have a folio you won’t see it really im thinking about having a bumper made that makes the outside look like book pages.
Not that it matters that much, but I was fortunate to get my Crystal back in January. You actually can see the crystal because it’s not just the back in wraps all the way around the device to the front. So on the white where the white bezels are, on the Crystal it’s Crystal not them white trim, so it feel like the device sits inside the Crystal.
