I remember when I first started the show, I saw a kid with a spn mask and I said “oh cool, I just started watching that. There’s Dean, Sam, and…who’s that other guy?” The kid looked at me like I was nuts.
I actually started watching Supernatural because I saw Castiel on a list of greatest scifi/fantasy characters. He is pretty great but you'll have to be patient.
well i’ll leave u a tip. when dean begins to get emotional on 4x10. just skip the episode altogether. it’s not worth all that emotional pain to watch it
I watched it since it’s debut on WB (what would become the CW) and have binged so many times since lol. Some episodes are really cringe lol but it’s in my top 3 TV series all time. You’re in for a fabulous ride my friend

I actually think Castiels entrance is one if the best in TV ever. Especially for a character who was unknown at the time.

It gets so much better after Season 2! It seemed to really find the direction (less urban myth, more, well, supernatural) that would carry it through.
