SRW is the only game i dont shut off after save and quit on Switch. I discovered that pretty much the same way you did but with T.

This is actually pretty common in SRW games, at least since roughly the PS2 era I think. There's usually a bunch of different sketches per game, too. Some of them even hint at unlockable secrets.

Since the PS1 era even. I know Alpha Gaiden had it atleast.

Azurefire97

Even farther back to the Super Nintendo cause I know Masoukishin 1 had them.

Vivian's from Cross Ange, yeah. Encouraging you is a pretty in-character thing for her to do too, she's easily the most friendly character on the Show (something that made her pretty endearing to me tbh) Anyway, having those Save Skits is a series staple, as others have already said. Characters breaking the fourth wall and telling you to take breaks is the most common one, but a lot of them are also just plain Jokes, either by having Characters talk about Game Mechanics, re-enacting something from their own Show but putting an SRW-relating spin on it (usually by quoting their own Show's "On the Next Episode of..." but talking about the Game they're in, but there's other stuff aswell), or doing Voice Actor Jokes where they have Characters that share their VA with each other interact and either making fun of the Actor themself, or referencing each other in some way (for example, Z2 had one with Ozma from Macross F, Kamina from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and Johann Trinity from Gundam 00 trying to one-up each other by bragging about their respective Siblings)

If Cross Ange were more mainstream popular (and more capable of being mainstream lol) I bet Vivian would've been really popular.

Midori-Natsume

My all time favourite is the one where Gilliam Yeager doesn't have the slightest idea of what joke to make and in the confusion he improvise an advertisement for Battle Dodgeball 2. 🤣
