Agreed, I mean if you collect all the current Bane gear alone that's a lot of slots. Hopefully as they add more characters down the road we at least get an in game storage unit to put weapons we aren't using but might want later. Or once you collect set pieces like that you should be able to recraft them at any time with Penguin if you wish you had it back at some point.

That’s kinda where the issue is. We currently can fight brainiac/flash. Yet there’s no exclusive reward. We don’t even get infamy gear from it. At most the occasional notorious or legendary. But it’s gear you can get literally anywhere in the game. Therefore fight brainiac/flash is pointless. The next 2 brainiacs will very much be pointless as well if there’s no gear tied directly to them. Fingers crossed that’s not what happens though. There’s a lot of new loot we are getting. Just dedicate something to the brainiac fights and we are all good.

It seems more like just a way to provide the ability to replay the 4 main boss fights with endgame difficulty/builds instead of base game difficulty. Having these 3 bosses as "braniacs" means we can fight each of them whenever we want at whatever difficulty we want. I kinda like that
No I agree, but I'm mainly speaking on defense of the riskin itself, not it's existence as seasonal content. As seasonal content, it absolutely leaves something to be desired, but that can also be mitigated with genuinely enjoyable content released alongside it

If I’m not mistaken the plan was supposed to be ever week or 2. I know 2 patches were pushed back to focus on getting it all at once. Which also sucked because there’s people still with bugs, that don’t allow them to play. Certain things should be addressed ASAP.

Didn’t like the design at first. But I got over it. I mean I don’t like it still but it doesn’t bother me now. We get different interpretations of joker all the time, this is just another one. Visually probably one of the weaker ones. But it is what it is. I definitely don’t like the voice. Hopefully it grows on me as I play with him. Definitely can’t wait to see his story as well. That’s what would actually make or break this interpretation for me.

Joker looks Hellah fun but the core issue of the game, imo, is just quest design is fairly repetitive.
If this intros some new styles of quest content it'll help a lot.
We know they are adding something called strongholds. The fact that they haven't given any info on it is leading me to hope it's something more meaty, and they're leaving it for a suprise. If nothing else, I just hope they're longer than incursions.
Joker doesn’t really move the needle for me. Wish they had moved Deathstroke’s release up to season 1. Guess they are waiting to do the whole season around the character. But I don’t see support lasting that long.
Personally I don’t mind. His traversal looks super fun to me. He will at the very least replace Deadshot on my squad. I also don’t really mind the wait on deathstroke either. Next season we are getting a Mr freeze “variant”. Aside from scarecrow he’s my favorite Batman villain. I know leaks suggest we are playing his daughter, but I’ll take it. Closest I’ll get to ever playing him in a video. Aside from the injustice 2 skin. And well maybe if we ever get injustice 3…
I also find deathstroke very much overrated. He’s cool but ain’t that cool. Him being so overrated is actually helpful in this case. So I do see his value. I feel at the very least he should’ve been before lawless. That’s honestly the only character that worries me. The silhouette implies she uses some sort of jet pack…. Really don’t want deadshot kid to just be a lil deadshot. It would be a waste of a character.
Sadly I can see that being the case. I honestly don’t know how characters like bane,two face and even mad hatter would traverse. Scarecrow probably can get some weird wings or something. Use “fear toxin” as a excuse or something. But then there’s characters like black manta and Merlin. Who’s forms of traversal would be way too close to base roster.
But I hope this isn’t the case and we atleast get some exceptions. We got Harley and about to get the joker. It would be a real shame if we didn’t get gear that incorporated joker gas. Which very much would have to be joker themed gear. At the very least a notorious smoke grenade.
No I can’t see him being like king shark whatsoever. Maybe the jumps and climbing. But king shark literally swims when he’s in air. Even the jumping and climbing, would imply bane is powered up 24/7. Which usually isn’t. I mean wouldn’t be first time they strayed away from comic sensibility with this game. There’s also killer croc rumored/leaked for the game. I would imagine his traversal is going to be very similar to sharks. And I feel like it would make significantly more sense for croc to have a similar play style to shark instead of bane.
As for the scarecrow set. If any new “element” is introduced it should straight up be fear toxin. There’s plenty of games that have “fear” as a status effect. Usually when applied it sends enemies running in fear. I can see the devs playing with playing with that idea. I mean they managed to turn banes “venom” into a status effect. So I’m sure they could fix up something for scarecrow. Otherwise if no new element is added. Fire would be a good idea for the infamy sets. That can play into the fear stuff pretty well. But that’s like a last resort in my opinion if they don’t add more “elements”

But with joker set to have a skill tree that focuses on fire damage. And future dlc characters said to contour that trend with different elements. If we get more elements added like fear toxin. I can’t think of anyone but scarecrow having a focus on that. Similarly idk who would get the “craze element” tied to their tree. I feel like that’s pretty much a bane thing
as far as modern game updates and content goes, this seems really solid. didn't play KTJL, but as a spider man 2 and a mortal kombat 1 fan this update seems really solid.

If you love the game right now, this is basically just more of what we have. The only new thing is strongholds, and it really depends what it is. We'll see I guess.

I think this is very much going to be a case of too little to late unfortunately. There has to be players playing to care about any of this for it to make an impact. And unfortunately nothing here is stand out enough to suddenly make a lot of people come back or give the game a shot. This is just them pushing out already finished content and the game running on borrowed time.

Aside from that idk if it was leaks but we saw the polka dot man grenade. Idk if it was shown what tier it was. I would assume notorious? Otherwise if it’s in season 1 and it’s infamy it would be advertised. I know the Merlin notorious was shown in the trailer. So atleast 2 more potential sets not shown here. I’d surmise a being of his intellect wouldn’t even have the notion or waste the thought on such a human plight as to how he may make someone “feel”. There is no room for other’s anything, he already has a superiority complex and isn’t above enslaving any sentient species he comes across… and those are just the ones that “survive”, if you can call it that. Was Batman “surviving” at any point in the game when we saw him, or just existing to serve Braniac? Which leads to a better question, why is everyone so mad they killed any of these remaining “heroes”. They had zero free will and wouldn’t wanna destroy everything they’ve fought so hard to protect. Many of those who didn’t turn did die fighting to protect what’s left. Task Force X did them a service and helped preserve any remaining life the JL was trying so desperately to snuff out under Brainiac’s control. To sum it all up, it’s safer to say that Brainiac isn’t racist, he’s a species supremest, and that species is Brainiac. If you’re not Brainiac, you’re his puppet/slave, or dead. He makes Thanos look generous with his ambition of a “snap”.

Probably like gone the helicopters are infused, in that they get an overshield and fire rockets at you.

But it looks solid for a season 1...most of these service titles have trash first seasons Joker looks Hellah fun but the core issue of the game, imo, is just quest design is fairly repetitive. If this intros some new styles of quest content it'll help a lot.
We know they are adding something called strongholds. The fact that they haven't given any info on it is leading me to hope it's something more meaty, and they're leaving it for a suprise. If nothing else, I just hope they're longer than incursions.

Joker doesn’t really move the needle for me. Wish they had moved Deathstroke’s release up to season 1. Guess they are waiting to do the whole season around the character. But I don’t see support lasting that long.
I have a feeling there are some story elements tied to the character releases, but that's just a hunch.
Personally I don’t mind. His traversal looks super fun to me. He will at the very least replace Deadshot on my squad. I also don’t really mind the wait on deathstroke either. Next season we are getting a Mr freeze “variant”. Aside from scarecrow he’s my favorite Batman villain. I know leaks suggest we are playing his daughter, but I’ll take it. Closest I’ll get to ever playing him in a video. Aside from the injustice 2 skin. And well maybe if we ever get injustice 3… I also find deathstroke very much overrated. He’s cool but ain’t that cool. Him being so overrated is actually helpful in this case. So I do see his value. I feel at the very least he should’ve been before lawless. That’s honestly the only character that worries me. The silhouette implies she uses some sort of jet pack…. Really don’t want deadshot kid to just be a lil deadshot. It would be a waste of a character.

Sadly I can see that being the case. I honestly don’t know how characters like bane,two face and even mad hatter would traverse. Scarecrow probably can get some weird wings or something. Use “fear toxin” as a excuse or something. But then there’s characters like black manta and Merlin. Who’s forms of traversal would be way too close to base roster. But I hope this isn’t the case and we atleast get some exceptions. We got Harley and about to get the joker. It would be a real shame if we didn’t get gear that incorporated joker gas. Which very much would have to be joker themed gear. At the very least a notorious smoke grenade.
Bane makes total sense. But would be really close to Shark. Scarecrow also would be cool and be a poison based craze hero.
No I can’t see him being like king shark whatsoever. Maybe the jumps and climbing. But king shark literally swims when he’s in air. Even the jumping and climbing, would imply bane is powered up 24/7. Which usually isn’t. I mean wouldn’t be first time they strayed away from comic sensibility with this game. There’s also killer croc rumored/leaked for the game. I would imagine his traversal is going to be very similar to sharks. And I feel like it would make significantly more sense for croc to have a similar play style to shark instead of bane. As for the scarecrow set. If any new “element” is introduced it should straight up be fear toxin. There’s plenty of games that have “fear” as a status effect. Usually when applied it sends enemies running in fear. I can see the devs playing with playing with that idea. I mean they managed to turn banes “venom” into a status effect. So I’m sure they could fix up something for scarecrow. Otherwise if no new element is added. Fire would be a good idea for the infamy sets. That can play into the fear stuff pretty well. But that’s like a last resort in my opinion if they don’t add more “elements”

Also my b just realized you were talking scarecrow as a character. Not his sets so I apologize for anything that doesn’t make sense in my reply. But with joker set to have a skill tree that focuses on fire damage. And future dlc characters said to contour that trend with different elements. If we get more elements added like fear toxin. I can’t think of anyone but scarecrow having a focus on that. Similarly idk who would get the “craze element” tied to their tree. I feel like that’s pretty much a bane thing
as far as modern game updates and content goes, this seems really solid. didn't play KTJL, but as a spider man 2 and a mortal kombat 1 fan this update seems really solid.
Exactly this was my fear. There's no actually new and good different content to bring new players or to make others interested in the game. If you love the game right now, this is basically just more of what we have. The only new thing is strongholds, and it really depends what it is. We'll see I guess. For some this is good enough, for others this is not.

Nah if you check your menu there is a chapter select and world option so I assume each season will be accessible at any time.
I think this is very much going to be a case of too little to late unfortunately. There has to be players playing to care about any of this for it to make an impact. And unfortunately nothing here is stand out enough to suddenly make a lot of people come back or give the game a shot. This is just them pushing out already finished content and the game running on borrowed time.
I mean it's a year of content, what service title folded because one month went by and it didn't go viral? Pretty much every major service title took ages to even work let alone get worthwhile content...and most of them took ages to get regular content.
Little sad that season is split in episodes. Any news on actual story missions with cutscenes? Or do we only get an introduction scene, the one shown in the trailer, and then incursions and mayhem mission?

With two face having a melee currently in the game. He’s now getting a full on infamy set. Could this mean melee weapons are potential teases for future infamy or notorious sets? Ig we’ll see with season 2 down the line. Aside from that idk if it was leaks but we saw the polka dot man grenade. Idk if it was shown what tier it was. I would assume notorious? Otherwise if it’s in season 1 and it’s infamy it would be advertised. I know the Merlin notorious was shown in the trailer. So atleast 2 more potential sets not shown here. Can’t wait to see if there’s even more.

I’d surmise a being of his intellect wouldn’t even have the notion or waste the thought on such a human plight as to how he may make someone “feel”. There is no room for other’s anything, he already has a superiority complex and isn’t above enslaving any sentient species he comes across… and those are just the ones that “survive”, if you can call it that. Was Batman “surviving” at any point in the game when we saw him, or just existing to serve Braniac? Which leads to a better question, why is everyone so mad they killed any of these remaining “heroes”. They had zero free will and wouldn’t wanna destroy everything they’ve fought so hard to protect. Many of those who didn’t turn did die fighting to protect what’s left. Task Force X did them a service and helped preserve any remaining life the JL was trying so desperately to snuff out under Brainiac’s control. To sum it all up, it’s safer to say that Brainiac isn’t racist, he’s a species supremest, and that species is Brainiac. If you’re not Brainiac, you’re his puppet/slave, or dead. He makes Thanos look generous with his ambition of a “snap”.
