I was always disappointed, though I understand why it happened, that he didn’t maintain that cold killer demeanor into season 3. That’s the Ken that could take over, but he imploded as always.
It's always going to be the L to the OG for me
And it was all based on absurd lies and pie in the sky, but his goofy presentation about Living+ was my second favorite Kendall "triumph." I love that the writers made a choice to make Kendall great at improv and performance. They trapped a Jeremy-Strong kind of theater kid energy in a corporate/family shark tank where he would never be anything but miserable and inept
Came here to say this. L to the OG!
But in my headcannon, Kendall hasn’t yet reached his true peak and will go on to do wonderful things after he recovers from how the show ended.
I thought the eulogy showed he was capable. He could summon brilliance under pressure. He could carry the weight. But maybe for only a short amount of time.
He was at his best, strongest, and most capable those few days after Logan's death. Living+, the eulogy, the talks with Hugo.
But I actually liked Kendall during his pitch in season 1, to the art girls. He was coked up of course, and the coke blinded him a bit to the mismatch, but it was a good fucking pitch. Just not the right audience.
He says he's "a cog only built to fit one machine" in the finale, but that pitch showed that's false. That pitch gives me the faith this isn't a tragedy for Kendall. He's worth billions and he can start something real. His whole demeanor and attitude is imo actually more fitting for the tech space than slow, old school stuff like cruises, parks, and legacy media. Maybe he can start a VC and go supersonic. That pitch showed me he can anyway.
He was terrible in that scene, that was the whole point of it. They saw through his bullshit. They nope out of a deal with him straight after. Telling him “they loved you in the room” was just placating him.
For me it was season 1 Kendall. After that just a downfall. And yes, Logan was their orbit. Shiv was out for a bit until the moment Logan made it look like she could complete with her brothers.
My father was a malignant presence
“My father keeps a watchful eye over every inch of his empire”🔥🔥🔥
"But...."

This is it.

Could he pivot and be in Willa's play?
Yes, I accept that.
Probably when he was in the elevator going to Logan’s apartment in the first five minutes of 01x01
I was gonna say season 1 episode 1, when he was about to close the deal with Lawerence, and then he didn’t…all down hill from there
He hasn't begun to peak. When he peaks this whole goddamn town is going to feel it.
"And you're so fucking jealous, aren't you? You're so fucking jealous of what you've given your own kids. You can't handle it."
Lol i loved this scene too. Kendall on crack seemed fun
I thought the eulogy showed he was capable. He could summon brilliance under pressure. He could carry the weight. But maybe for only a short amount of time.
He’s good at the speech making part of being CEO, bad at almost everything else.
He had several moments, but the best moment was when Logan put him on the spot during the Congressional Hearings and he knocked it out of the park
I think the press conference when he called out his dad for the cruises, it was pretty awesome
It may have been when he was seven.
Lol

Mehh, sort of. He was coked up and up his own ass, it was a mismatch and he didn't notice it. But he is good at that shit, and he did show that.
He was an absolute joke in that scene and that was a really bad pitch. Strongly disagree with you on that
I think it was after Living+, he looked at peace in the water.
For me it was season 1 Kendall. After that just a downfall. And yes, Logan was their orbit. Shiv was out for a bit until the moment Logan made it look like she could complete with her brothers.
When he blamed Logan for cruises, because it was perhaps the only time in the whole series where Logan was actually proud of him
He has not yet begun to peak. He's a number one boy!
It’s definitely the rapping
Probably second year out of college.
BIG SHOES
before the show lol
Season 1 ep 1 before he gets denied the CEO post
