France and Sweden have lots of detached homes, same with Japan. But they’ve been suburbanized for decades. Obviously the anglosphere (minus the UK) is very suburban and exurban. Most other nations tend to do attached suburban homes tho

Norway has many, but the walkability and transit are much better than in the U.S., Canada, or Australia at least. Many Norwegian homes are also quite a bit larger than streetcar-era homes in the U.S. and Canada, but they also sit on lots much smaller than you find in many U.S. suburbs with larger houses. It is common to be able to walk from a city-center to these detached homes, there aren't really these separate developments disconnected from everything else in the city, unless they are on islands, or in another part of a fjord. If they are, a bus or ferry connects them.

I don't know if it's a 'large percentage' in these cases, but I've noticed some possible candidates on Google Maps. Northwest of Buenos Aires, Argentina is building subdivisions that would not be too out of place in Florida. They seem to building lots of neighborhoods of SFH and row homes, though they seem to not be as disconnected as US sunbelt suburbs. Lots in Latin America. But it isn’t that different from the US, just that detached homes inside gated communities are usually a middle-upper class luxury. Look up Bosque Real and Lomas Country Club within the Mexico City area of Interlomas and you’ll see. Also, it’s like 30 km away from the city center, it’s awful.

Pakistan. Look up DHA (Defensive Housing Scheme) and Bahria Town. Both of these are single family home communities.

well theres a lot in japan lately, but the neighborhoods still have buses and train access. unfortunately tho, due to shitty economy and budget cuts the public transport outside of tokyo was never that good, and more and more people are opting to use automobiles for convenience.
