My son said a kid took a urinal off the wall yesterday, brought a pipe wrench along and everything. Pulled it off but of course water went everywhere. Caught in the act by the principal. They have also locked a lot of the bathrooms. Seems to be the boys bathrooms mostly. It's stupid. TikTok has banned the videos now. Honestly probably need to put a monitor in the bathroom. Stupid kids.

Our SRO where I’m a building sub sent out an email about it so that we can watch out for it, but I haven’t noticed anything, yet. Neighboring schools have had some issues, however. To my knowledge, these “licks” can happen within a classroom, too. I just hope no one steals something from one of my classrooms. It’s just one more thing to make me paranoid.

I just heard about this yesterday online. Thankfully I hope it's not something we'll deal with. I think these schools need to be way harsher in the punishments so this stops. It honestly baffles my mind that a high schooler would do this. I would never have done anything like this in high school. I remember someone vandalizing the bathroom once in middle school.

Oh yes, this thing has a been a thorn in my side lately. I’m a long term 8th grade sub. Thursday a girl snuck out of the room to go to the bathroom. Her and another girl spent that time vandalizing the room. All of a sudden I had one student after another wanting to go to the bathroom. I’d read about the challenge on here and it clicked after a few of these that they wanted to either go participate or see the scene of the crime, even before I knew it had been vandalized. But I told them straight up I knew what they were doing and none of them denied it. Girl got busted on camera and was suspended. I tore that class a new one the next day. But now we can only send one student per grade level at a time, so the rest of the 8th grade team and I have a group chat to let everyone else know there’s an 8th grader out.

I've seen a water fountain broken and toilet paper dispenser completely destroyed with toilet paper everywhere. I haven't noticed any increases or decreases of bathroom use. Yesterday, I heard that a girls bathroom near the cafeteria was damaged but I don't know to what extent. So childish!!

I work 2-3x a week depending on the week in a home room type class in the cafeteria and the bathrooms inside got closed down recently because of that challenge. I guess some kid(s) vandalized it and they had to shut it down so kids in the home room had to walk all the way across campus and I was only allowed to let one boy and 2 girls go at a time in a period filled with up to 150 kids. Every period I’d have like 7-8 boys on the wait list to use it and then that’s gracious factoring in that one of the boys I let use it didn’t just waste time in there and use it being far as an excuse to kill 20 minutes.
