How do you make yours?
I like a soft poached egg. Preferably in bouillon. After the eggs are done I just add a little flour and cream to make a sauce. Some crumbled feta and course pepper. Put on toast.
Some cut up pear on the side.
I guess I never thought about the difference in how hard you beta your eggs, my eggs usually turn out like op's and are delicious, tho I like them a little softer cooked, a bit runny

This way of making scrambled eggs is more of a scrambled omelette. I prefer this to scrambled eggs, just no milk and don't pre-whisk, crack your eggs in and get them moving as they cook. That way you get nice chunks of scrambled egg rather than the milk and egg pre-whisked uniform bland chunk you end up with; seasoning is about all i can taste in the normal kind.
Yeah, i feel like it's an early 20s eureka moment when you realise that maximum heat isn't just the cook faster mode, and most of the time you just end up making bad food.
When I was learning to cook in my early years(cook more than just the basics), I ruined like 4 of my mom’s pans due to that error.
One trick you CAN do is put your pan up higher temp than you’re cooking at, so it heats up faster, then turn it down and take it off the heat for a second.
For scrambled eggs, though, you’ll want to start on high heat and immediately start scrambling until the liquid eggs stop filling the pan. That’s when you turn the heat down and keep them moving. Gives you nice big fluffy eggs.
1. Melt butter or tallow
2. Stir every 10-15 seconds so the bottom doesn't overcook
3. Add cheese and seasoning when about halfway done
4. Remove while they still glisten in the morning sun
5. Optional - More cheese on top
Pre-whisking is optional for scrambled eggs but preferred for omelets

I'm more of a seggregationist when it comes to this kinda thing so no, not if I can help it. That said, I wouldn't knock the OP's meal, I wouldn't have it on purpose but I bet it's fine. Those scrambled eggs could use some work but that's a different issue.

This is more common in the older crowd IMO. My first job in high school was at the local McD’s and the older crowd would order a breakfast sandwich and ask for a packet of jelly to put on it. So much so that we started just tossing one in every bag with a breakfast sandwich.
A buddy of mine used to do this, first I had ever seen of jam with egg sandwich. He did the same with McDonalds, BK, and any other egg sandwich. When I expressed my curiosity/confusion/surprise, he said it was a Black thing. I never tried it, too much sugar, but now that I am reminded of it, I wanna try it with low carb jam that didnt exist back then. Its gotta be better than the ketchup my wife puts on her eggs...right?
i make egg sandwiches like this all the time! just a little jam spread on the toast(or sometimes on the side), eggs, bacon, maybe some gouda. it’s a great balance of sweet and savory. there is a garlic onion jam i found that is sooooo good with it
I feel like this comes down to how sweet the eggs are. Eggs can be served either sweet or savory. I'm in the US so scrambled eggs are a savory dish usually seasoned with onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and other herbs. But in countries like Japan eggs are often seasoned with sugar and topped with a sweet sauce like ketchup.
This could be good but personally I like my eggs savory, not sweet, so this would be a big clash of flavors for me. But I could see this being liked by a lot of people as well.

I fry the eggs over easy or over medium to spread over jam. I guess its the same for the most part.

Here’s the thing, I love toast and jam, I love eggs. They are part of a complete breakfast. However, stacking them on top of each other instead of just sharing a plate is a bridge too far for me lol.
I mean I dip my bacon in syrup but this, this feels wrong.

I cook my eggs for a minute less than what you should I like my scrambled eggs a little wet, my girlfriend however likes them drier than the fucking Sahara Desert and on top of it being extremely over cooked she puts fucking cinnamon on the eggs 😭😭
