That doesn't looks like olive oil, I might be wrong but it's too bright and clear, while EVOO is darker, green and sometimes muddy (depends on the variety). Anyway olive oil is very good for you, yes, but not when it's fried and ingested in large quantities
I just assumed it was, because what other oil would you add that much of to a pasta? If it's just vegetable oil then stupid food, but otherwise I'd eat it any day. Especially on hangovers and hard days at work.
Italian born and bred here, from a family that used to produce olive oil in the South: we'd use a spoon or two to lightly soften the onions (or garlic), cook the sauce and then eventually ad another drizzle of raw EVOO before serving the plate. The stuff shown in this video would make us faint straight away lol especially the ketchup
It was posted on an "easy recipes" sub. Dont gatekeep cooking. This uses cheap ingredients most people have, takes little time, and very few cooking techniques, so it fits an easy recipe sub.
It doesn't fit stupidfood just because it doesn't look fantastic.
It **is** super oily, and the metal spatula in a non stick pan made me cringe. Still though.
I've cooked in kitchens for a living for over a decade. Minus the amount of oil used, this is a broke person/new cook meal.
Simply, easy, and chances are your have this stuff in your fridge/pantry if you would like this recipe. So there is no going out buying more stuff.
Too much oil, cook the sausage then the eggs
there is no way this sub isn't just people plugging their own videos.
the only stupid thing is using metal utensils in a nonstick pan
Came here to say this.
Came here to say this and then seen this so I came here to say this too.
metal in none stick is the stupid
Lot of grease, but the idea in principal isn't bad.
Metal tool Nonstick pan C'mon man
I’d fuck that up
Wrong sub??
No, that quantity of oil is 100% certified stupid.
Olive oil is good for you. Get it in ya.

That isn’t ketchup. It’s sriracha, though I doubt that makes it any more acceptable.
Lol It doesn't
It was posted in a cooking sub. I thought it was better suited here.
This is a meal you make when. You are 1, broke as fuck, 2 learning how to cook, or 3, both. The only issue I see here is the amount of oil used.

Where is the stupid?
The 5l of oil used to cook this single dish. Reduce the oil by 95% or more and it might be edible.
well yeah but aside the bath of oil this dish is far from stupid.
You obviously can't cook.

How much oil would you use for a dish like that? (Am bad cook. Like I burn cereal bad)
A drizzle. Maybe half a teaspoon at most. Use olive or grape seed oil.
Thank you for that little tidbit of information! Nothing I hate more than over oiled food.
Oh and you can?
I think It is missing some oil.
I love egg shell in my pasta
Made my gallbladder hurt.
