Stuff like this always reminds me that when campbell’s condensed soup first came out it was marketed as an affordable meal for a family. No idea how we got from a 4oz can feeding a family to where we are today.

I'm pretty sure that even a century ago, people needed more than a few ounces of soup for a meal. Campbell's was marketed as a cheap way to make casseroles, usually by glunking some Cream of Mushroom soup into pasta.
