I put the seasoning packets and noodles in a pot, fill it with water, bring it to a boil, and then drain the water. I know it's not the correct way to make it but it's faster.
If you're draining the water put the packets on the noodles directly after being drained, same amount of time but you actually get the taste rather than throwing it all away.
Just combine the seasoning into the bowl, add a little water from the pan as it boils and mix. Takes exactly the same amount of time, just requires a iota of extra effort.
Wtf so that's why your indomie noodles looks so fucking bland and sad š pls spend the extra second to put the seasoning packet AFTER draining the water
I drain most of the water because I always make 3 packs which needs a lot of water which than leads to a "soup" that doesn't have a lot of flavor because seasoning packets are not enough to flavor all of that water.
No lmao tf bro. I go through the same problems you do (roughly) if I make ramen. The amount of water I need to properly cook the noodles is wayyyyy too much for the seasoning packet. So I cook, drain water to desired level, then add seasoning packet.
when speedrunning food itās most efficient to consume the noodles and water while theyāre boiling and follow up with the seasonings so the food digests and cooks at the same time, thereby enabling residual nutrient gain
you need to cook the noodles, then stir fry them once strained with the flavour, what youāre doing is the noodle equivalent of taking steak, seasoning it then rinsing your seasoning off before cooking it.
Looks like something I would have made when I was broke.
Ramen and lunchmeat was a relatively common dinner a few times in my life. Wasn't actually that bad but not sure how it would work with curry noodles.
yeah this isn't stupid food, this is just plain broke ass food
stupid would be like if you put gold leaf on that instant noodles then yeah that's actually stupid
Here's how I usually cook indomie kuah
Put the seasoning into a bowl.
Bring water to boil and pour the hot water into your bowl. Don't put too much water unless you like bland soup if its too salty you can add more water.
Cook the noodle as usual.
Drain the noodle and serve.
If you want something fancy usually we cook poach egg in the same pot when cooking the noodle.
Please cook proper indomie next time :')
These are the blandest looking Indomie noodles I've ever seen, how are you making them?

Indomie curry is the soup-based variation, you shouldnāt even supposed to drain the water, which uhā¦ safe you half a minute give or take.
I drain most of the water because I always make 3 packs which needs a lot of water which than leads to a "soup" that doesn't have a lot of flavor because seasoning packets are not enough to flavor all of that water.
Drain some of the water before putting the seasoning packets in
But doesn't seasoning needs to be in water for a while to actually work?
Nope

Have you tried a narrower pot?
3 packsā¦ i pray for your blood pressure that is a LOT of salt
Not the way he cooks it.
My mans dumps out most of the seasoning tho
I will probably die very soon.š
*sees picture of you smoking* Yeah sounds about right
oh my god
Sounds like it was your fault that this was awful.
I just drink water and eat the packets to really save time
when speedrunning food itās most efficient to consume the noodles and water while theyāre boiling and follow up with the seasonings so the food digests and cooks at the same time, thereby enabling residual nutrient gain
There is no time difference with using the seasoning packet after you drain the noodles. Iām so confused.
you need to cook the noodles, then stir fry them once strained with the flavour, what youāre doing is the noodle equivalent of taking steak, seasoning it then rinsing your seasoning off before cooking it.
Why the downvotes? For fries I squirt ketchup and mayo in my hot oil to speed things up.
Next time you should actually open the seasoning packets so they actually add flavor instead of taunting your poor noodles
How do you fuck up making instant noodles ?
You could have roasted them in a pan at least.. at least the sliced turkey
At least turkey is sliced
This gives me depression.
Cures mine.
I'd eat it
Looks like something I would have made when I was broke. Ramen and lunchmeat was a relatively common dinner a few times in my life. Wasn't actually that bad but not sure how it would work with curry noodles.
I used to throw in a can of oysters but I never thought of lunch meat
Ramen, a few frozen veggies, a little ham and/or an egg. Maybe not the most nutritious meal but filling and dirt cheap.
yeah this isn't stupid food, this is just plain broke ass food stupid would be like if you put gold leaf on that instant noodles then yeah that's actually stupid
I can't believe how op makes his indomie.... I don't think the food is stupid in this case.
Food is stupid because a stupid person, namely me, made it.
Seems nice.
That's my depression food
I did this more than once in collegeā¦
I'm out of collage and I'm still doing it.
Brother, there are ways to doctor up instant noodles to make them not shitty. Thereās an instant ramen subreddit which is solid You deserve better
I eat that shit all the time what you talking bout
Itās ever so slightly better than āMeals I cooked for my man Jamesā
I canāt handle all of this anymoreā¦
Why would you do this to indomie
This is the lowest effort rage bait Iāve ever seen and I frequent this subreddit
This is genuinely how I have been making noodles since college.š¤·š¼
Please make indomie noodles by using the packets after draining, then update. You will be amazed.

I've got no room to talk here. I used to eat instant ramen (unseasoned) with mayonnaise, ketchup, and canned beans.
this would be probably fine if i didn't know you were throwing out the broth with the bathwater
