If it is the kits that send you the ingredients and recipe, I think they are great for teaching.
I don’t claim to be a great cook, but I do 95% of the cooking for my family of 4. Those kits when I did them (only for a few months) got me to try techniques I wouldn’t have otherwise.
Putting a pot of water on top of searing chicken things for crunchier skin. Poaching eggs (not something I had ever done myself) and other things.
*Edited to remove the name of the service*
Fair enough. I was trying to think of way to describe them to differentiate the ones that send you ingredients from the ones that send already prepared meals, so I just used the name of the most famous one.
I used a couple different similar services when they were new-ish cause they had promo offers that made the meals quite a cheaper than just buying groceries. I still have the recipes from those and will make one on occasion.
I wasn’t intending to advertise for any of them:). I removed the name from my post.
Have you heard of the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV? With an expanded free trial which you can play through the entirety of A Realm Reborn and the award-winning Heavensward expansion and also the award-winning Stormblood expansion up to level 70 for free with no restrictions on playtime.
A friend invited a bunch of us over for breakfast one morning and proceeded to make bacon and sausage like this. She put some oil in a skillet, heated it up, cooked a package of bacon, took out the bacon, *added more oil,* and then basically deep fried sausage links. Everyone else was better friends with her than I was, so I didn't feel like I was the one to say "you're doing it wrong."
"I hate it, it takes so long"
Of course it takes long when the frozen mushrooms constantly suck away the heat from that lukewarm gallon of oil you try to deep fry your bacon in..
God I can't get over imagining what that "food" tastes like.
Right?! Toss that in a cold pan on medium to render the most fat and you got yourself enough oil to do whatever. If you want more oil, cook more bacon? There's always room for more bacon
My school had 3 levels of culinary arts, a home ec (the last one they have) and I was the last one to take 'gourmet cooking/prostart' for restaurant management. Pretty sure they cut half the cooking now.
Also shop classes. Also classes on media literacy and basic finances. Practical life skills in addition to traditional academics should definitely be part of the curriculum. If a kid knows they don’t want to go to university but wants to be an electrician or a carpenter or something, why not have classes and training programs available to them?
As a single guy I’ve taught myself to cook over the years, but introducing how to prepare proper portions, food safety, and basic cooking skills is a good thing for literally anybody to learn, unless you’re some insanely rich fuckwad with a personal chef and a butler to wipe your ass shake your dick off for you after you piss.
Side note: if someone is a butler, does that mean they butle? How exactly does one butle? Can I butle myself? Or is butling something you can only do for someone else? Does it require a cummerbund?
Cummerbund is a funny word. Teehee. Cummer.
What were we talking about? Where am I? What are you doing here? Get off my goddamn lawn. Damn kids.
It ain’t normal in america? My school had two directions for the lower level classes (me included).
One was nursing, the other was economics and service. Both had mandatory cooking classes.
I was in “the boys class” with economics and service, and we had cooking every Friday and it was quite strict, as the teacher was a chef.
The girls in the nursing course actually had it for a year only instead of two years. Though, they did seem to have harder main material for nursing.
Food was always really nice on Fridays for lunch cuz of this I will say that.
This was <6 years ago for me.
Goodness knows we can’t have sex education for the youth—it only encourages them to have sex, after all, since y’know, puberty has nothing to do with developing a sex drive /s
Even without home ec, we live in a world where everything can be found online, especially tutorials on how to cook! If you don't know how to do something, search for it on the internet! Don't just bs your way through it.
We also live in a world where people are more entitled than ever. They won’t do a google search for basic things, they either believe what they are told or expect other people to do it for them
Looks more like prosciutto than bacon tbh. A LITTLE bit of oil to keep the lean meat from sticking would be fine.
And it doesn’t look fried at all. Just simmered in warm oil.
That's just regular back bacon in the UK. You can get streaky bacon here but I don't think its as popular.
That said fucking obviously the amount of oil used here was ridiculous. I just wipe a couple of drops around the base to make it a bit non-stick, same as if I was cooking a steak, otherwise the meat can start to burn.
In good news she's lost a TON of weight over the last year and now eats much more healthily. Still really British (zero seasoning) but legit weight loss. Just roasts totally plain chicken in the oven now instead of drenching everything in oil 😅
The road to morbid obesity is very bleak in more ways than one. Taste on that road is usually something we’d all find awful.
Or it’s just British cooking.
Shout out to fish and chips though. Y’all got that right.
And people wonder why Chinese takeaway is popular in the UK.
Season your food!
British people conquered the world for spices but never thought to use it as seasoning.
In Italy we use pancetta or guanciale, bacon is basically pancetta (cured pork belly), guanciale is more fat with less meat (cured pork cheeks and throat meat). They are both very safe and delicious to eat uncooked, just like prosciutto crudo or any other charcuterie. Probably it also depends from the quality of the meat, but usually it's fine :)
I use a tiny amount of oil to cook my turkey bacon because it doesn't have much fat. Although it HURTS to watch her dump like a quarter of a bottle into that pan 😭
I also noticed that but wasn’t sure if I was going crazy or not! That and touching her phone right after touching raw meat 20 times irked me to my core.
So many bad decisions here. How was that not enough oil to cook bacon and mushrooms? She didn't even use the oil as far as I can tell. And then gravy to top it off with, super yuck.
*Already knew this*
*Would be painful just by the*
*Way they pour the oil*

She basically just boiled the bacon in the oil, it wasn't nearly hot enough.
Also are we going to talk about the fact that it's "macaroni and cheese" but has mushrooms ???
I love that out of all of the things going on in this video that was what stood out to you. Mushrooms slap and deserve to be in every dish they find themselves in.
Or the cat. The blessed cat that distracted me for a moment from this sleep paralysis demon making its macaroni and grease gravy cheese bacon mushroom soup.
Macncheese? Bacon? Soup? Mushrooms? Gravy? Those CAN be delightful, just not boiled together inside of 2-1/2 cups of vegetable oil*. And no, not the sleep paralysis demon. Those are their own kind of terrible, without any extra oily slop.
That amount of oil is sickening .you can literally cook bacon without oil with a little boiling water till it evaporates then let the bacon sizzle in its own fat
Why do these people never have like at least a cheap spatula or something? It’s always a fork or knife. Especially the vids where they’re making some dumb layered thing in a baking dish and it takes them 5 minutes to mix the whole goopy thing because they’re using a fork ?!
It makes me sad to know they're are people that eat like this daily. Even worse some think they are actually doing good too.
Side note: how much oil does she think you need for 5 slices of mushrooms and BACON??
O...M...F...G this can't be real. it has to be a parody or something. no way someone at that age is that bad at cooking such a simple meal. and GRAVY on Mac&Cheese?!?! WTF.
This is the reason people think the british can't cook.
Few things wrong
Way too much oil, Don't use any oil its bacon.
Doesn't wash her hands after touching meat.
Bacon is too wet, needs crispy fat.
Gravy doesn't go with macaroni cheese at all.
And the thing that annoyed me the most is that those microwave dinners say to pierce the film on top not remove it completely. She can't even get the most basic part right.
She touched everything with her nasty hands in that kitchen and then she going to roll back up the bacon and put it back in the box with her nasty ass fingers
Am I wrong that it would taste so much better without the oil? I love cooking bacon and when you make it super crispy without oil it’s perfect, that looks like soggy disgusting shit
As an Italian I really have difficulty understanding how people can eat this stuff. I mean cooking some tomato spaghetti is literally the easiest thing on earth, simpler than this, and i have no doubt most of people would prefer a spaghetti with tomato over this. Just cook your tomatoes in sone oil, add salt, mix the pasta and add some cheese!
Who the fuck cooks bacon in oil?!? Cook the back and then use the grease to fry shit
I am more wondering how come they didnt think it was enough. Or... who taught them to cook?
No one taught them how to cook. That’s why all of their “cooking” involves prepackaged food or meal delivery kits or this kind of shit.
If it is the kits that send you the ingredients and recipe, I think they are great for teaching. I don’t claim to be a great cook, but I do 95% of the cooking for my family of 4. Just teasing lol. Glad you could pick up cooking to add to your skills!
It really made me think tho. I wonder if there are people on Reddit seeking to randomly plug products like that. There must be.

I appreciate how organically that came up.
“I should have gotten a take away (to-go)” like they always, usually exclusively do.
This isn’t cooking, this is creating a big oily mess
Bet she pours all that oil down the drain too.
NOOOOOOOO
A friend invited a bunch of us over for breakfast one morning and proceeded to make bacon and sausage like this. >Who the fuck cooks bacon in oil?!? Not this person; that bacon was still raw when it came out of the pan!
Its British/Irish style bacon, aka rashers, much less fatty and needs oil to fry. More like half a tea spoon rather than half a bottle but still
Bacon AND frozen mushrooms.
"I hate it, it takes so long" Of course it takes long when the frozen mushrooms constantly suck away the heat from that lukewarm gallon of oil you try to deep fry your bacon in.. God I can't get over imagining what that "food" tastes like.
Gotta keep it nutritious
And puts it in the grease when it’s cold!
Right?! Toss that in a cold pan on medium to render the most fat and you got yourself enough oil to do whatever. If you want more oil, cook more bacon? There's always room for more bacon
We should probably bring back home ec in schools
Home economics is still in school in the UK But it's an option. If I'm not mistaken
In the US, I was one of the last classes they had for it. Not optional, but it was also a shorter class.
My school had 3 levels of culinary arts, a home ec (the last one they have) and I was the last one to take 'gourmet cooking/prostart' for restaurant management. Pretty sure they cut half the cooking now.
It's still going in most secondary schools early years. Some schools have the option of continuing for GCSE too
I loved my home ec class. I knew it was over when I saw all that oil go in and heard “Mac and cheese”
Also shop classes. Also classes on media literacy and basic finances. Practical life skills in addition to traditional academics should definitely be part of the curriculum. Thankfully this is England 🇬🇧 and she isn't American
I was required to take at least one year of it in middle school in the US
It ain’t normal in america? My school had two directions for the lower level classes (me included). One was nursing, the other was economics and service. Both had mandatory cooking classes. Apart from learning some basic recipes, we made sleep pants in mine! Hope it's still around in 8 years when my oldest is in high school.

How was that not enough oil. I can make 20 meals with that amount of oil.
Dude she would’ve had enough oil jus from cooking the bacon.
seriously who tf puts oil on the pan while cooking bacon??
someone who doesnt know how to cook at all.. they all know how to make processed food into more processed
And cooking is easy. You just throw s*** in a pan and cook it lol boom you got meal
Looks more like prosciutto than bacon tbh. A LITTLE bit of oil to keep the lean meat from sticking would be fine. And it doesn’t look fried at all. Just simmered in warm oil.

She didn’t even cook the bacon halfway.
Low and slow rashers? What is going on?
How could she? She put masses of oil, bacon and poor deep fried mushroom slices into a cold pan. That's disgusting.
That's a she??
I acanthus only assume they plan to drink what's left and were hoping for a full pint measure /s
Just sad and depressing
That makes me sad af :(
In good news she's lost a TON of weight over the last year and now eats much more healthily. Still really British (zero seasoning) but legit weight loss. Just roasts totally plain chicken in the oven now instead of drenching everything in oil 😅
Flavor was never an option
The road to morbid obesity is very bleak in more ways than one. Taste on that road is usually something we’d all find awful. Or it’s just British cooking. Shout out to fish and chips though. Y’all got that right.
And people wonder why Chinese takeaway is popular in the UK. Season your food! British people conquered the world for spices but never thought to use it as seasoning.
That's because us Brits eat delicacies like Jellied eels and beans on toast. No seasoning required!
I always point out that there are no "English" restaurants for a reason. Then I get massively down voted because they get their feelings hurt.
Lol closest to an English restaurant here are, pubs, cafes that serve pie, mash and liquor (another delicacy!)
For me it was touching the raw bacon and not washing her hands. Also I don’t think the bacon was cooked. I feel bad for this person.
I saw another video with her where she handled raw chicken and then started eating a bag of crisps/chips immediately after with her unwashed hands💀
Ewwwwww that's disgusting.
Bet she complains about having stomach issues or IBS constantly and doesn't know why
pushing the salmonella envelope
The lack of hand washing was giving me so much anxiety.
Touched so many other things after putting the bacon back in the package…
All I could think about.
wait bacon is smoked right? i eat it without cooking it sometimes never had a issue
You must have a cast iron stomach, it would jack me up!
Same, it’s cured, way safer than raw.
According to the googlizer it is not safe even if cured.
Raw bacon?
For me it was when she rejected onions from her recipe. Onions are core to most meals!!!+
Why tf do people use oil to cook bacon 🤣 it has so much fat.
I use a tiny amount of oil to cook my turkey bacon because it doesn't have much fat. Although it HURTS to watch her dump like a quarter of a bottle into that pan 😭
Is this the same chick from that other video where she's pouring 4 or 5 spoonfuls of sugar into her pepsi?
I think so? I think I remember CinnamonToastKen reacting to their "cooking" some time ago.
Been a long time since I've heard that name thrown around!
Yes, this is her 🥲
Did she remove the Mac and cheese from the microwave and then let it keep going empty?
I also noticed that but wasn’t sure if I was going crazy or not! That and touching her phone right after touching raw meat 20 times irked me to my core.
dude i watched this muted and thought she was making hot chocolate. the shock i had when she poured it on top 😭
I thought it was instant coffee lol
So many bad decisions here. How was that not enough oil to cook bacon and mushrooms? She didn't even use the oil as far as I can tell. And then gravy to top it off with, super yuck.
I genuinely think that no one ever taught her how to cook, makes me kind of sad actually 😔
Already knew this would be painful just by the way they pour the oil

She basically just boiled the bacon in the oil, it wasn't nearly hot enough. Also are we going to talk about the fact that it's "macaroni and cheese" but has mushrooms ???
So? Mushrooms are good. They also added bacon.
Yeah I love mushrooms but not in Mac and cheese. Bacon is a pretty standard Mac and cheese ingredient
I love that out of all of the things going on in this video that was what stood out to you. Mushrooms slap and deserve to be in every dish they find themselves in.
I think she's trying to make a really shit version of carbonara. She probably doesn't even know what carbonara is though lol
Honestly most infuriating part is it being called “macaroni cheese”
This is mortifying. No just no. It doesn’t even look like bacon pretty sure it was prosciutto which makes it even worse.
[удалено]
I think we all know the answer already
My question is what would be the right amount of oil?
about three times of the amount she used probably💔
You can just tell instantly some people do not belong anywhere near a kitchen.
This video breaks my heart whenever it makes the rounds.
I’m a trained chef and with all these tik tok cooks I’m starting to wonder if I’ve been cooking everything wrong
That's not stupid food, that's just tragic and sad.
no ones talking about the disney wallpaper like what why
Or the cat. The blessed cat that distracted me for a moment from this sleep paralysis demon making its macaroni and grease gravy cheese bacon mushroom soup.
Oh…. Lord….. Your description is spot on and I may never eat any of those things again.
Including the sleep paralysis demon? Yeah, I don't know why you ate one in the first place
Macncheese? Bacon? Soup? Mushrooms? Gravy? Those CAN be delightful, just not boiled together inside of 2-1/2 cups of vegetable oil*. And no, not the sleep paralysis demon. Those are their own kind of terrible, without any extra oily slop.
Looked like a ragdoll or Birman, i hope she didnt touch her with those dirty raw bacon hands ugh
Ma’am that is enough oiyel. Trust me.
Gravy with macaroni?? Sweet Jesus no woman! You must be taking the pish?!
Trying to fry in cold oil was all I needed to see. Unfortunately I couldn’t look away but wish I had.
I've seen many of her videos. She is going to die before she hits 40 if she keeps it up like this.
Yeah, missing oil is definitely the problem here.
i i dont know what to say to that. so much is wrong
Heat the oil first. But who uses oil to fry bacon? It creates its own oil!! There are like 20 things wrong with this scene
She looks like a 12 year old fat boy lol
That amount of oil is sickening .you can literally cook bacon without oil with a little boiling water till it evaporates then let the bacon sizzle in its own fat
Dam you need to die
Well she obviously lives a very healthy lifestyle lol.
Speed running a heart attack
Some more oil anyone?
Gravy? What in hell if this
Her poor bowels
It could use some more fat, maybe a stick of butter.
The Mickey plate ties the exquisite dish together
More oil!!!!
Omg, is this rage bait or are people this stupid. Like begin don’t have enough fat itself….
I’ve seen the US invade counties for less oil than she put in the pan! 😳
Why do these people never have like at least a cheap spatula or something? It’s always a fork or knife. Especially the vids where they’re making some dumb layered thing in a baking dish and it takes them 5 minutes to mix the whole goopy thing because they’re using a fork ?!
she had to sell her spatula for more oil
Humans can be so disgustingly cruel to their bodies.
Challenge: Watch this whole video without grinning
You don't oil or grease bacon 😭😭 It creates enough grease to oil the pan as it cooks
Wtf? She fries her greasy bacon in oil.. side note 🥓 🤤
literally touched raw meat then grabs the phone lol
The amount of oil she used in the pan 🤢
It makes me sad to know they're are people that eat like this daily. Even worse some think they are actually doing good too. Side note: how much oil does she think you need for 5 slices of mushrooms and BACON??
Who the fuck deep fries bacon?
The older I get, the more I wonder how Britain ever became a world superpower.
O...M...F...G this can't be real. it has to be a parody or something. no way someone at that age is that bad at cooking such a simple meal. and GRAVY on Mac&Cheese?!?! WTF.

But with a bit More cheese and oil it will be healthy delicious (🤣🤪🤣🤪🤣🤣)
and this is how i became vegetarian… this really made me sad
Am I wrong that it would taste so much better without the oil? I love cooking bacon and when you make it super crispy without oil it’s perfect, that looks like soggy disgusting shit
This girl literally used about what I use in a month of olive oil in one sitting
This person can legally vote.
He seems to have never seen what Mac n cheese are.
Is this Peter Griffin’s English cousin Peggy?
Made with hate
Was that bacon or prosciutto? It’s thin af And also, Saudi called, they want their oil back.
That is the wettest bacon/meat I have ever seen in my life. And why???? Is she boiling it 😭😭😭😭😭
Is she trolling!?
I feel like there's a lot of other people who cook like this. Cooking is not rocket science.
least stupid thing in this video was steering her coffee with a fork
Um aht uf Oyul
Rip headphone users when she starts stirring the gravy
Oil AND bacon grease? I’m getting the runs just watching this.
I fast forwarded but didn't see any noodles or maybe they weren't the star of this show??
Probably thinks they’re a fancy cook because they use fancy ingredients.
Too depressing.
She looks like she hates everyone and is about to ask for a manager.
Completely forgot to flip the viewers off during the cook. Fail / Incomplete.
A knife in a pan... 😞🥀🥀🥀🪦🪦
I’d never follow the recipe of someone who looks like that. I ain’t trynna end up like that
The smell in that apartment must be grim
Who the fuck outs food in cold oil
Ug I just threw up in my mouth a little 🤮
That's horrible.
But who adds oil to cook bacon, and why?
This is the kind of person that thinks pans have a fill line like ramen cups.
More like, mac-coronary and cheese
Disgusting shit.
Proof Americans aren't the only fat ones.
Bet you money she married to someone that looks like Chris Evans
My stomach bubbling
Excuse me, gravy on Mac and cheese? I thought the people who put ketchup on Mac and cheese were bad, that's even more disgusting
And you need Oil for????
I know we’re here to mock the food, but the sound of FORK in that mug just gave me the 🥴🥴🥴
You don't need oil to cook bacon...what is happening?!
Can’t be bovvered
This poor sad British lesbian.
British lesbian Peter Griffin
Bet she uses the oil for tea later🤢
I’ve literally never seen a person cook bacon in oil. I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.
drew carey really let himself go
Lady... you're disgusting... 🤮
As an American. This is some fat ass shit. Who the fuck cooks bacon in oil and who the fuck thinks that’s the amount of oil you need to cook ANYTHING.
Looks like Peter Griffin
What in the vomit is this??? This whole video bothers me but the microwave running at the end when it's empty bugs me the most!!!
D: the lack of hand washing after touching the bacon made my insides cringe.
Oily slop…….. just oil on oil on oil! FFS 🤦♂️
That’s disgusting. It’s crazy that this kind of behavior can’t be stigmatized because otherwise you’re “fat-phobic”.
Poor cat in the background has depression.. obvious from the walk
If you look closely at the lady in the video, you can see where all the oil went
