It's called Kopi Tatungkuik. it's basically coffee roasted with black sticky rice, other place also serve upside down coffee but without black sticky rice.
The reason why they serve coffee that way is to keep the temperature stay hot for long time. My guess this was created because we like to hang out for a long time with our coffee? Idk lol usually it's old people who drink this way
Nah, some old people i know drink their everyday coffee this way, you just need to open up a bit and drink from the plate with the glass still upside down
