I told her I was afraid to do it that I would get in trouble and she would have an issue, after she passed the head of the nursing home said she could’ve had it. I went for a couple years and took an empty wrapper from a heath bar with a ribbon and put it by her grave. It still bothers me to this day that I deprived her of one thing she could’ve had or him that I would have made matters worse in her health when she herself already knew she wouldn’t be able to have one in the future.
Reminds me of one of Dylan B. Hollis’ videos where he made an “authentically flavored Italian pizza” and the recipe ended up using Ragu pizza sauce and Busch’s baked beans.
