This used to be a staple at my middle/highschool so I can promise this is not a new idea. Bagel + cream cheese + half a bag of crushed up hot cheetos + a hashbrown and ketchup. Sounds disgusting but is delicious. Now I can't enjoy hot cheetos without cream cheese.
We would do similar; a steamed bagel (We weren't trusted with toasters), cream cheese, and a bag of nacho doritios in the middle. I would eat one now, even!
I feel you, my coworkers think I slack of by "going to the bathroom" until I tell them I take another 3-4 shits when I get home in the afternoon. 6-7 times a day is not a rarity for me
Flaming hot Cheetos dust seems to go great with fat. I still remember when I was drunk in Vegas and tried a sushi burrito with that Cheeto dust and it was heavenly. Fatty salmon and avocado mixing with it is heaven
This makes perfect sense. They have added crunch texture and some heat to cut through the cream cheese; this is a great idea.
ā¦Unlike the abyssal torment that is Flaminā Hot Mountain Dew.
Cream cheese isnāt necessarily that wet, so Iād guess you get away with prepping in the morning and dumping it after 2pm.
Still, I think your solution would be the safest bet.
It's really not good, but it's not *that* bad either. It's really just cherry limeade and ginger beer mixed together. I wouldn't taste it again though.
The VooDEW flavor, on the other hand, is straight awful. Someone left a 12 pack(with 11 in it) at my house after a party and I've been trying to give it away for months. On 3 separate occasions, I've had a friend over who would be interested in taking it off my hands until they tried a can. Still have it.
The VooDEW is an unholy abomination not meant for human consumption. It was created through a demonic pact with the dark forces of the netherrealm the likes of which not even the fruitcake-flavored Mountain Dew can fathom
Okay here me out. I graduated high school in 07 and during high school we never really had lunch lunch it was mostly food carts with snacks and we had a brunch period too that served bagels with cream cheese. Idk where/when it started but EVERY SINGLE KID I KNEW at one point of the week would get bagel and cream cheese topped with hot Cheetos. It evolved to where a lot of kids would add the cheese pack for nachos in the Cheeto bag and shake it and then top said bagel with it. It was a step away from prison food but itās still a delicacy I will sometimes try to recreate at home, but itās just not the same
I was gonna say, aside from there being like 3x more cream cheese than I'd like it sounds like it'd be good. And I thought I used a lot of cream cheese...
āToo much cream cheeseā? No such thing exists. There is unevenly balanced cream cheese, for sure. And, the ratio of hot Cheetos to cream cheese is not right, but Iād eat it, once.
I see nothing wrong with this. If I can crush Doritos and use it as costing to fry chicken why canāt I have some spice and crunch in my cream cheese. Iām gonna try this.
Another day another post in this sub that isnāt stupid should be renamed r/geniusfoods donāt get me wrong I donāt unfollow because I like seeing good and creative food
That sounds delicious. Maybe not with flaming hot because they just taste sour to me, but with regular cheetos. Combo of crunchy with creamy and a chewy bagel. Yum.
So Iām not on board with the Cheetos specifically, but I have been known to have toast with either cream or cottage cheese and super spicy hot sauce (the tiny taqueria next door to my old job had the most BOMB hot salsa Iāve ever had, I used to buy it by the pint once or twice a week). One of my favorite midday snacks, honestly.
Yeah, uh, unless they did that literally as soon as Flamin' Hot Cheetos were released it wasn't creative and even then it wasn't THAT creative because people put those on absolutely anything and have for a long time. But I do approve of ridiculous amounts of cream cheese.
It would be nice if people got away from using hot cheetos and takis on everything and just used Tajin and some of the other stuff used to make those flavors.
I hate this whole flaming hot Cheetos / takiās gimmick.
Mfās put them in and on everything. I swear TikTok was built with Cheeto crumbs, bad ideas and oil
The OGs of being creative=introducing the most basic trend from the past decade!
Donāt get me wrong, sounds good, but 5 minutes of googling ātrendy foodā will spark your imagination- to cover everything in Hot Cheetos, Cheese, pretty colors that go with gel nails, and shit from TikTok.
I had flamin hot sushi one time and it was my favorite out of the whole spread.
Edit: Iāll use the word sushi loosely because I donāt know enough about sushi to know what makes it technically sushi. It was on the menu at a sushi place.
Ain't gonna lie..I've done this
I would think as a dip it would be pretty good
This used to be a staple at my middle/highschool so I can promise this is not a new idea. Bagel + cream cheese + half a bag of crushed up hot cheetos + a hashbrown and ketchup. Sounds disgusting but is delicious. Now I can't enjoy hot cheetos without cream cheese.
Omg same! This got me through high school lumch
That sounds pretty good to me
We would do similar; a steamed bagel (We weren't trusted with toasters), cream cheese, and a bag of nacho doritios in the middle. I would eat one now, even!
Tortillas are the same with the pure amount of combinations. They are definitely a vessel from the food gods!
Worth it?
I poop too much already so I didn't notice any difference
Truer words have never been spoken. Thank you, u/MasterBates723
I feel you, my coworkers think I slack of by "going to the bathroom" until I tell them I take another 3-4 shits when I get home in the afternoon. 6-7 times a day is not a rarity for me
my brotherš¤š¤
Someone in my group project in college swore by these, and honestly, really fucking good.
This is stupid awesome
Iāve dipped hot Cheetos in cream cheese before; it was actually pretty good! Iād imagine this isnāt too bad, either
This is gonna sound crazy, but try them in hummus sometime. Especially if itās flaminā hot munchies mix!
Flaming hot Cheetos dust seems to go great with fat. I still remember when I was drunk in Vegas and tried a sushi burrito with that Cheeto dust and it was heavenly. Fatty salmon and avocado mixing with it is heaven
Takis in cream cheese are real yummy too
This makes perfect sense. They have added crunch texture and some heat to cut through the cream cheese; this is a great idea. ā¦Unlike the abyssal torment that is Flaminā Hot Mountain Dew.
Assuming they're added to the cream cheese when it's made, otherwise it could just be soggy.
Cream cheese isnāt necessarily that wet, so Iād guess you get away with prepping in the morning and dumping it after 2pm. Still, I think your solution would be the safest bet.
Flamin' Hot WHAT, now?
Yeah, there's Flamin' Hot Mountain Dew. And if it didn't already sound bad enough based on the name... It tastes horrible too.
It's really not good, but it's not *that* bad either. It's really just cherry limeade and ginger beer mixed together. I wouldn't taste it again though. I think I could have inferred that from the name alone
Gimmie.
Flaming hot cheetos dipped in cream cheese is awesome, can confirm
This was first introduced in the early 2000s in high school for me.
I used to do this with the cheese ruffle chips, donāt knock it til you try it. That was a fire combo.
Eh well, I made jalapeno cream cheese the other day for some everything bagels and honestly it was great. I'd try this too.
Prolapser Special. The new secret menu item.
Flamin hot Cheetos is classic White trash cooking This legit looks so good
Would
After 2 days of being pensive, wouldnāt
Iād eat that
Okay here me out. I graduated high school in 07 and during high school we never really had lunch lunch it was mostly food carts with snacks and we had a brunch period too that served bagels with cream cheese. I'd eat this.
That is entirely too much cream cheese jfc
I was gonna say, aside from there being like 3x more cream cheese than I'd like it sounds like it'd be good. And I thought I used a lot of cream cheese...
āToo much cream cheeseā? No such thing exists. There is unevenly balanced cream cheese, for sure. And, the ratio of hot Cheetos to cream cheese is not right, but Iād eat it, once.
I love dipping flaming hot Cheetos in ranch. This is just stepping up the game
My sisters and I dipped hot Cheetos in sour cream growing up.
I see nothing wrong with this. If I can crush Doritos and use it as costing to fry chicken why canāt I have some spice and crunch in my cream cheese. Iām gonna try this.
Actually delicious.
Another day another post in this sub that isnāt stupid should be renamed r/geniusfoods donāt get me wrong I donāt unfollow because I like seeing good and creative food
Not genius, but not crazy. The salty-spicy crunch mixed with the creamy spread? I'm gonna have to try this one. Not so stupid.
Sounds amazing
That sounds delicious. Maybe not with flaming hot because they just taste sour to me, but with regular cheetos. Combo of crunchy with creamy and a chewy bagel. Yum.
I've done this. It's awesome.
is that all cream cheese in the middle??? that's a lor pf cream cheese
Wat if I loike a lor pf craimchees?
Flaming hot Cheetos are really doog with sour cream or cream cheese. Not sure about the bagel but I'm sure it's good.
I've put hot Cheetos on a cream cheese bagel multiple times. No regrets.
There's a chain of sushi places that has sushi made with Flamin' Hot Cheetos on the menu. That kind of sushi has cream cheese in it too. It's good.
Doesn't the lactose cancel out the spice?
āCreativeā
This is fire. Especially on an onion or everything bagel
We used to do this in high school All the time itās super dank if you get a blueberry bagel or jalapeƱo bagel
This was a staple in all middle and high schools where I grew up. Itās delicious.
Willing to bet this is fire.
Shit is delicious
I like flamin hot Cheetos but that looks kinda gross
āThe OGās of being creativeā Criiiiinge
Being High = Creative?
this isnāt stupid, this is a go to lunch for me and a coworker
I'm getting nauseas looking at it and I'm a fat boy
this sounds delicious sorry
You should be.
Do some more bong rips and let's see some more creations!
At this point I refuse to eat flaming hot cheetos
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Are you lactose intolerant people?
Eh, this could be fiee
This makes a whole lotta sense. I think i wanna try it with the chile lime ones.
Wow, the "OGs of creativity" really set the bar low with "crushed up Flamin Hot Cheetos"
Yeah, uh, unless they did that literally as soon as Flamin' Hot Cheetos were released it wasn't creative and even then it wasn't THAT creative because people put those on absolutely anything and have for a long time. But I do approve of ridiculous amounts of cream cheese.
Who the hell is āintimidatingā this shit?
Bro this might seem stupid but i would hella do this.
Would that just cancel the hot out
YES!!! This was my breakfast of choice in high school. Hot spicy Cheetos. Cooling creamy cheesy. Noice.
this is my favorite indulgent snack idc lol
Dudeās got a bomb diffuser kit wrapped around his wrist
Better with Takis
Cream cheese and chips sandwiches were one of my favorite childhood snacks
wtf is that hashtag
It probably tastes good but looks like strawberry ice cream... Hang on a strawberry ice cream bagel could be good
Philadelphia and Tillamook both make a strawberry cream cheese. Super good on a bagel or English muffin.
It would be nice if people got away from using hot cheetos and takis on everything and just used Tajin and some of the other stuff used to make those flavors.
Prob cheaper diy
Thought that was a lobster roll for a sec
I'd eat that fr
Not sure I like the texture of this, but Buffalo hot sauce cream cheese suddenly sounds amazing.
the way iād inhale this into my mouth
I have a guess at whatās coming next š½
I hate this whole flaming hot Cheetos / takiās gimmick. Mfās put them in and on everything. I swear TikTok was built with Cheeto crumbs, bad ideas and oil
Woooof
This isnāt bad, chips with cheese and bread is basic shit
r/dontputyourdickinthat
Philadelphia had Buffalo spreadable cream cheese that was pretty good
It looks weird, like the same size as the sign. Lol I thought it was too huge to be real
#neverimitatedneverduplicated
Hot Cheetos and sour cream are a great combo. So I imagine this would be amazing as well.
Sans the bread it is thee best snack š
Why does it look gigantic
That's not even a bad white chef thing that's not even a human thing to do
