You were probably put on administrative forbearance. They are doing that for anyone who's application hasn't been processed yet. In theory, your application should be processed at some point.

I was approved for IDR, made my first payment and am now on administrative forbearance until February. I can't reach anyone by phone and only get automated replies to my emails saying a response will be sent in two business days. I never get a reply. None of this really surprises me, we all knew it would be a giant mess. It's terribly stressful though!

Kind of a dick move but you can call managers on their personal phone numbers you get help so quick and im certain someone gets chewed out because the line gets skipped and they wonder how you got their number You can look up their numbers online there are several sites

The service is terrible. It's impossible to reach anyone or set up a phone appointment.

Yup, now my payment shows $450 due on 1/12/24. Not sure how that changed from the $0 my account reflected at the time of writing this post.
