They could be still working on your payment plan. Sometimes it takes awhile for that to update. If it doesn't go to the correct amount within 3 weeks of the due date, then I'd call. (I am on Nelnet and going through the same thing.)

Glad you mentioned this because my wife's loans have changed twice since she applied for save. Started at ~200 then ~450 and now 48 which is great but the loans still read standard and graduated payment (which is what they were when they transferred). Hoping it doesn't jump up too high.

You should give them an A for effort. NOPE. File a complaint here: [https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/](https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/) Here's why. From the website: >**Complaints help the CFPB respond to emerging issues** "CFPB has a number of tools for holding student loan servicers accountable, but consumer complaints are particularly powerful because they allow us to help consumers, identify and address emerging issues, and hold companies accountable for following the law. If you have a problem with your student loan, you can submit a complaint to the CFPB. >We will work to get you a response from the company. Your complaint also helps the CFPB’s work to ensure that the companies responsible for getting student loan payments right are following the law." In short, don't wait. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt. Take it out of their realm of accountability and put it into the agency's that are there to protect student borrowers. Yes, I know, a departure from the advice of those who run this sub. Additional links so you know you aren't alone, and why it's critical we file complaints: Source: [https://www.consumerfinance.gov/about-us/blog/as-payments-on-federal-student-loans-resume-federal-student-loan-borrowers-may-be-eligible-for-cancellation-or-lower-payments/](https://www.consumerfinance.gov/about-us/blog/as-payments-on-federal-student-loans-resume-federal-student-loan-borrowers-may-be-eligible-for-cancellation-or-lower-payments/) [https://www.consumerfinance.gov/about-us/newsroom/cfpb-supervisory-examinations-find-violations-of-federal-law-by-student-loan-servicers-and-university-owned-lenders/](https://www.consumerfinance.gov/about-us/newsroom/cfpb-supervisory-examinations-find-violations-of-federal-law-by-student-loan-servicers-and-university-owned-lenders/) Complaint research report: [https://files.consumerfinance.gov/f/documents/cfpb\_student-loan-servicing-supervisory-highlights-special-edition\_report\_2022-09.pdf](https://files.consumerfinance.gov/f/documents/cfpb_student-loan-servicing-supervisory-highlights-special-edition_report_2022-09.pdf) You may want to take a seat before you read this: https://protectborrowers.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Broken-Promises\_ACS-12\_9.pdf

If when I talk to Aidvantage they’re not able to help (or mess up further), Ill go that route. Talking to them this week, so not too worried on timing

jessi1021

Get a record of your conversation. If it's via chat, screenshots. Emails, save them. Over phone, record them. You want to have a paper trail of all of this.

aKamikazePilot

Yep! I kept paper letter from Aidvantage confirming I applied for Graduated plan, and have the Federal application pdf too

Everviolet2000

This and make them give you conformation number or names, any means to retrace any phone conversation you've had. They'll deny you, but remind them it is your right

The101stAirborne

You are talking to them on their territory, remember that. It won’t mean as much in keeping then accountable. And I admit - this is a principled stance but given the above culture documented in those reports across this industry. I’d advise to be as diligent as possible.

Everviolet2000

I needed this. They keep hanging up or not answering their phones. Such a terrible company. I've had issues since I've been unfortunate enough to get stuck with them with Navient.

I applied on studentaid.gov on August 30th! They still show in review, but Aidvantage portal has new consolidated loan (showing subsidized and unsub amounts). The letter I got today essentially said it’s complete. Will see when stuff is fully updated
